Yes, I remember back at the beginning of the Haditha discussions circa 2006 you got a little friendly schooling, ie., Marines are not soldiers and vice versa. This guy is both and the best of both.

There was a guy in my boot camp platoon who had been in the army and decided to join the Marines. And another buddy of mine joined the National Guard after he finished his enlistment with the Marines.

I also know a Marine sniper who had a Navy corpsman in his sniper team in Iraq. The corpsman wasn’t ancillary, or a tag-along - - he was one member of the four-man sniper team!

You’re right. That was all the way back at the beginning of Haditha, wasn’t it?

American military personnel are good at multitasking.

It makes a difference in war time.

A salute to them all.

PS: My son multitasked in Iraq and some Iraqi fedayeen are very dead because of it. Good training pays off as does a good leadership having faith in you.
