ICE Scraps 287(g) Program That Allowed Local Police to Enforce Immigration Law

As long as they support and cooperate with local police who wish to use the heck Secure Communities, I'm OK with that.

I suggest you do some research. Let me give you a few clues. Secure Communities is a leftist program and unlike the name implies it does anything but secure.

In essence, the program facilitates the feds co-opting not only the authority of local law enforcement but as well local law enforcement resources.

Secure Communities is more of the same selective immigration enforcement but different in that it imposes it upon local law enforcement.

The leftists state that Secure Communities is a more efficient use of resources for focusing on priority cases.
