Bingo, we have a winner. The Food Stamp President wants to go over the cliff for several reasons. First, he can blame HIS FAILURE on the economy on someone else. Second, he will create a crisis which he will exacerbate and then use as an excuse to declare martial law or some other power grab. Finally, it all fits into forcing the US into the new world order run by the UN.

People expect their benefits to be maintained, to have their taxes kept low and to avoid austerity.
Republicans can’t cut benefits and Democrats can’t raise taxes. So we’re in a Mexican standoff.
The country will muddle through through the next “crisis” in Washington.
