Archaeologists have discovered a 2,750-year-old temple along with a cache of sacred artifacts, providing rare insight into religious practices at the time, the Israeli Antiquities Authority announced Wednesday.
The temple was uncovered west of Jerusalem, at the Tel Motza archaeological site, in preparation for work on Highway 1. Among the finds are pottery figurines, fragments of chalices and decorated pedestals, which indicate the site was the stomping ground of a ritual cult.
"The ritual building at Tel Motza is an unusual and striking find, in light of the fact that there are hardly any remains of ritual buildings of the period in Judaea at the time of the First Temple,” said excavation directors Anna Eirikh, Dr. Hamoudi Khalaily and Shua Kisilevitz in a statement.

Hope they do. The more absurd public statements the better. Eventually people will get to the point that they refuse to embarrass themselves supporting them.
And unfortunately that’s all most care about anymore.
Can’t figure it out. Isn’t Mecca the most holiest site for Muslims. Then they claim all sorts of towns/cities/sites as a holy site. Why don’t they just claim the whole world as a Muslim holy site and be done with it? Jerusalem has been Jewish since time immemorial. There was no such thing as Muslims or Islam before AD600.
We Jews pray for an earthquake that will destroy that Muslim mosque squatting on Temple Mount. That mount has been Jewish long before that pedophile Mohammad ever came into existence.

Methinks it is coming that we in the Christian Nations think in terms of a New Crusade. We act or the followers of Mo will force us to act. We fight or bow down to Mecca. In fact maybe we should join them -— and Reform Islam from the inside! Maybe re-do that Koran thing-— scrap the Shareria Law thing—or change it. The worst thing for islam would be if we joined up and started to mess with it. If ever a religion needed a reformation—Islam is the one. They need a Martin Luther to lead them out of the darkness to the essence of Allah.
I guess they haven’t played “Cowboys and Muslims” yet.
