Internet Essentials - Comcast (Comcrap)
Comcast ^ | December 27, 2012 | Tony Dungy

Posted on 12/27/2012 3:20:53 PM PST by ConservativeInPA

I just sat through this commercial twice in the last commercial break during The Five on Fox News.

I am sorry, but I don't give two craps about Obama kids that can not afford the Internet, when I pay the benefits for two plus people via my tax dollars and I am trying to find a way to send my first daughter to college next year.

Do you realize that when you pay for your cell phone bill that you are also paying for Obama phones?

it really doesn't matter what bill you pay; whether tax bill, phone bill, gas bill, electric bill or cable bill - you are paying for lazy ass Obama's people to have a better life when you have to pay double - once for you and once for them, when they pay NOTHING.

When businesses are going broke, they look to trim costs. Few businesses will seek to increase their debt when they are going bankrupt. No bankruptcy court will permit that. But, that is precisely what government has done. When a division of a company is unprofitable and adding to the business’ losses, that division is cut or modified to increase profits. Modification usually means staff reductions and requiring the remaining employees do more. Perks and conveniences are slashed. Each employee is evaluated by what assets they possess and how well the employee applies his assets to the company’s benefit. Those who refuse to accept the change are fired. Those who are unable to adjust to the new idiom, are fired. Any employee who does not positively contribute to the company’s profit making, are terminated.

However, the Democrat’s (and some Republicans) response to a financial crisis is to increase the burden upon the company - The US Tax Payer.

Social Security is bankrupt. The revenues taken from tax payers no longer meet the demands of Social Security’s payouts. Medicare, Medicaid, W.I.C., and other welfare programs (Ethanol) are growing by leaps and bounds in a terrible economy. Those participating in the welfare programs are typically people who are incapable of managing life without assistance. Progressive Democrat policy is crafted to provide these Indolent souls all they need. Progressives take money earned by others, who can manage life without assistance, and give what is taken to the Indolent class.

The Indolent class relies upon assistance from many sources for all their needs. Government, private sector, friends, and relatives may all contribute. The Indolent conducts their life with assistance from others factored in to all they do.

The Indolent is additionally freed from the outcomes of their choices and behaviors. Somebody else will fix what they break. Somebody else will feed the mouths they create. Indolents are never to blame for creating their misfortunes. Indolents are freed from the Cause and Effect relationships of life.

The question becomes - How can anyone learn from experience when they are purposely excluded from responsibility? What motivation will curb their appetites when nothing stands to impede their appetites?

This is why most Indolents remain on public assistance from others all their lives. They learn from birth that others will care for them. Laws require the government intervene. Citizens and non-citizens who refuse to care for themselves, or are unable to negotiate life, receive a subsidy. For some Indolents, the welfare level of income, a level classified by government as poverty, is sufficient and preferred to working. The Indolent prefers free time to do what they wish, over finding gainful employment that requires their time. Many adopt crime as a means of supplementing their incomes.

The Indolent is a Progressive Democrat mainstay. Tens of millions of votes are at risk.

Progressives refuse to require making the Indolent “Earn” what is given them. Requiring the Indolent change their behaviors, and end their acts of procreation, until they are self sufficient, is never considered. Intolerance, insensitive, and noe frequently racism, is accused to silence objections. Indolents are treated as special citizens. The Indolent and their offspring are given special privileges the working class must earn for themselves and their family. School lunches, rent subsidies, job training, education benefits, and other perks, are provided to Indolents at no cost. Some communities require new developments include Low-Income sections as a requirement for the development. This often includes the developer provide community centers, expensive design features, and maintenance - at no cost to the Indolent. In some instances, the Indolent has a higher standard of living than a working family.

The Indolent’s lower income is generally a result of the Indolent’s; inaction, personal behaviors, and/or unwillingness to dedicate ones self to improvement. Higher incomes requires a work ethic, dedication to employment, work experience/training, and consistently pursing a traditional path of employment. Education, good work habits, personal appearance, and hygiene are the basics. The Indolent either refuses to modify their personal behaviors to earn a higher income, or the higher income remains beyond their grasp because they refuse to dedicate themselves to earn it. However, the disparity between the Indolent’s income and the average working citizen’s, provides the Indolent (and Democrat politicians) a grievance to complain they are mistreated..., discriminated...,

Democrats and Social Liberals act to address the Indolent complaints using class warfare. Buying the Indolent vote requires Progressive Democrat politicians regularly increase the stipends paid to the Indolent class. Demorats must also construct policies that indemnify them from criticisms and a work requirement.

Fairness and Justice are the catch phrases used by Progressives to commit theft; and betray the Constitution. Fairness and Justice are the words I recall from Comic Book Heros - Superman, The Green Hornet, Batman, and others, brought criminals to “Justice” to make the world “Fairer”.

Progressive Democrats use the word Justice to commit a crime.

Fairness is achieved when the Democrat concludes the theft and gives a portion of what is robbed to another who promises to vote for them.

Punishing the working class/tax payers enables the Democrat to rally the Indolents to despising the people whose income is taken for their benefit. The Indolent never says thank you, or appreciates what is given them. Their greed and envy is Justified - according to Progressives. Progressives consider any difference in income is Un-Fair - whether the income is earned or stolen.

Fairness — In this theory, is only achieved when all citizens have identical spending power - regardless. If the citizen lifts a finger to earn the money, or not, is irrelevant. In this theory, the tax payer is obligated to earn enough for two families - his own and the Indolent’s. Justice is done when the Producer/Tax Payer is robbed of his total income so his spending power is reduced to the Indolent’s, and, the Indolent’s income increases to match the Producer/Tax payer - in the name of Fairness.

In the current system, some citizens/non citizens work harder and smarter. They earn more money than others. IF a person is successful and frugal, and they amass great wealth, or wealth above an arbitrarily wealth ceiling, determined by Progressive calculus, that citizens breaks the Justice and Fairness rules. Then that person is termed RICH. Progressive Democrats complain: The RICH, do not pay their Fair Share... The RICH, are part of the problem... The RICH, avoid their Civic Duty... The RICH, are not concerned with Justice... The pursuit of Justice demands Progressive Democrats rob the RICH, so the Democrat can buy the vote of an Indolent. This model has another name - Bribery. Indolence Bribery.

Progressive Democrats argue that all politicians perform bribery. Democrats suggest giving tax breaks, or favorable work environments, to corporations, is Un-Fair and evidence of bribery. Bribery is Un-Just.

However, there are differences in the outcomes of various bribery. The Corporate bribery allows companies to expand and create profits. Expanding companies also create jobs. Jobs create more tax revenues - even when the corporation is provided a tax relief.

Conversely, Indolent bribery does not increase tax revenues. Indolents receive a tax refunds despite their paying no taxes - The Earned Income Tax Credit is one of many tax policies that allow Democrats to give the Indolent more unearned money. Indolence bribery creates hardship for government because filling the Indolent’s empty hand, requires more robbery, more laws, more agencies, more government employees. Democrats also use the words Fairness and Justice to expand and create more regulation. Regulation costs business, citizens, directly when they comply with the regulation. The regulation costs move higher when the citizen is taxed to keep the regulatory agency operating.

A top to bottom overhaul of Indolence policies is needed. Indolence costs are buried across the spectrum of government. Each citizen is only owed what they earn. Government is not responsible for cradle to grave care for those who will not earn for themselves. Nor should government reward behaviors that lead to Indolence. Particularly, policies that do not act to curb childbirth while on public assistance. If the Christian religion may not act to worship in the public square, then Christian ethos - caring for a fellow man - has no place in policy making - or guilt tripping Christian citizens to part with their wealth

Came from;

Should have been a link and the bottom.

It not bad, as far as it goes but the writer is not a professional. It’s like a series of quasi-related thoughts assembled into an essay. But it jumps around and does not have a solid direction.

I have this in a text file from the patriot post, with the link in the bottom yet the link didn’t appear.

I have often hoped that someone like Daniel Greenfield would take this essay and lend his writing talents to it and fix it. Greenfield is a is a true professional.

The hidden taxes paid by the “rich” are a scandal - not only are there additional fees placed on all sorts of utility bills to support “Societal Benefits Charges” ($0.0083 each Kwh, or $7.48 on this month’s Atlantic City Electric bill for me), but special discounts for the elderly such as I think Comcast’s special rates, usually have very low income ceiling for qualifying - but when society becomes obsessed with “redistributing the wealth”, anything goes......

The Obama Administration made this a condition of Comcast’s purchase of NBC.

My sister in law-the welfare queen- took her “Earned Income Tax Credit” this year and went on a trip from CT to California- air fare for her, the husband and 3 kids, an SUV rental and hotel stay for a week.

We had to use our tax “refund” to pay our property taxes because my husband was laid off and our income dropped considerably-

Just crazy....oh-and all 5 of them each have their own cell phone...

My sister in law-the welfare queen- took her “Earned Income Tax Credit”...yeah, one of the forty-seven percent who not only don't pay income tax but get some back from the government - but it's greedy and insensitive of us to talk about that - while the top two percent of earners pay fifty percent of the income taxes collected - and they must be punished for doing so well and made to pay more of "their fair share" - it is becoming literally sickening.....

There are no words to describe how angry it makes me-

her kids are 13 and up and she still says she cannot work because she “has to be there for them” because one has an irritable bowel (I couldn’t even make that up)...she has never worked and they have 2 insurances; one thru the husband at work and of course Medicaid; 2 cars, each kid has there own TV, a computer and a laptop and an HE pedestal washer and dryer (which I cannot even afford-that was probably last year’s “tax credit”)....she also has a boarder that has been living with them in their 5 bedroom apartment for yes, I am sick about it daily as we struggle to pay for our oil right now...

ok-rant over-thanx-I feel a bit better :)

Comcast Offers 10 Dollar Internet To Eligible Families

Author: Brent Randall
published: 2011-09-21 20:09:52
Starting today, many more American families will have the opportunity to connect to the Internet. Comcast has rolled out its “Internet Essentials” program to all 39 states that it services in the US, giving eligible families access for $9.95 a month. The service was previously offered in a limited amount of areas, but has now expanded nationally.

As Time reports, Comcast has agreed to not increase the price, and not tack on any extra fees for things like activation or equipment rentals. In addition to the cheap Internet, subscribers are also offered a computer for $149.99 at sign-up along with free Internet training.

In order for a family to be eligible for the discount, they must meet four requirements: be located where Comcast offers service (obviously), have at least one child part of National School Lunch Program, have not subscribed to Comcast Internet within the last 90 days, and not have any outstanding bills with Comcast.
