Get ready, all you “millionaires and billionaires” with kids in college and taxes to pay on your homes in and around New York City.
It doesn’t matter that you bring home just $250,000 a year and have a family of four or more. President Obama thinks you’re part of the evil 1 percent and you should pay higher taxes — a lot higher.
That’s the unfortunate reality for many New Yorkers, no matter what happens during the fiscal-cliff negotiations designed to avert taxes going up on everyone, regardless of income, if a deal isn’t reached sometime soon. Those talks have stalled, and many economists are predicting economic Armageddon unless a deal is reached that prevents massive across-the-board tax increases and budget cuts targeted at slashing the defense budget.
Going over the cliff sure won’t be pretty. Even for families earning as little as $50,000 a year, income taxes are to rise from a 13 percent rate to 17 percent — an estimated increased federal income-tax burden of more than $2,000 a year if there’s no cliff deal, according to the Tax Foundation. Of course, the more you make, the more you will pay. All those “billionaire” families living out on Long Island and earning $250,000 a year will pay $9,730 more, while real millionaires who earn $1 million a year will pay $50,267 more in federal income taxes.
What’s so frightening about these numbers is that they don’t take into account all the other taxes President Obama has in store for the country, including those to pay for his ObamaCare mandates, or even state taxes that are sure to drag an economy still fighting to recover from the Great Recession.
What’s also frightening is that things won’t be so great even if so-called cooler heads prevail

In NYC, everyone knows that 250K doesn’t make you rich—it makes you part of the bourgeoisie, one notch up from most of the proletariat. But, if we remember our Marxist history, Lenin hated and demonized the bourgeoisie on behalf of the supposed proletariat.
Our Islamist/Racist/Marxist President is just keeping with tradition.
$250,000 in 2013 is only $135,000 in 1993 when the Clinton tax bill was written.

All those in the big blue cities voted for Obama..so they’re getting what they voted for. Plus..some states increased taxes on the rich..so enjoy..
By the time this is all said and done, the figure will be $1 million and those folks will be shopping for loopholes and favors. Same old chit.

The mob is never quite so pleased, however, to discover that, after the commissars’ enemies have been eliminated, the mob are next.
No doubt when the National Idiots are wearing cardboard shoes and waiting in line for their monthly ration of toilet paper, they will have extended opportunity to repine.
By then, of course, it’ll be too late, and those in society who produced all the goods formerly enjoyed bu the Idiots will be gone.
One hopes by then they will have developed a taste for old potatoes and clothing made from plastic.
$250,000 isn’t that much.

250 k , works out to 125 k or less, after all the taxes already at the federal , local and state level are taken out.
Sales tax, federal income tax, state income tax, property taxes, gasoline taxes, phone taxes, taxes on businesses which are passed on to everyone, etc.
The $200,000/$250,000 tax increase is straight out of the playbook of Lenin/Stalin. In order to destroy Russia, and the remaining non-communists, Lenin (and later Stalin) attacked the Kulaks (small businessmen & farmers) in order to collapse any financial or political opposition. Once the efficient and effective Kulaks were rounded up and negated, then the crony communists and their collectives could be implemented. If the Food Stamp President and his communist horde can destroy the small businesses through taxes and regulation, most political and financial opposition to his communist goals will be eliminated or muted for the most part. Once small businesses are eliminated, his collectives (GE, Google, Goldman-Sachs, etc.) can expand to control all facets of our society.
Back when algore was vp he made the statement that if someone made 250K per year for 4 years, that made that person a millionaire.
No joke.
