If the GOP rolls over and plays dead and confirms this anti-American traitorous, lying SOB as Sec of Defense, the two parties have effectively merged. The GOP is dead. Kerry is the worst possible pick to be this nation's Sec of State. He should have been arrested years ago, charged with treason against the US, and spent the rest of his life in prison, or moved to his adopted home country, North Vietnam.

Voting against Kerry is fine - in fact, it's a duty.
But the fact is that the Secretary of State represents the foreign policy of the United States, which is made by the President and, to a degree, by the Senate, and Kerry represents that policy perfectly.
The foreign policy of the United States is anti-Israel, pro Islam, pro-feminism, pro-gay, pro-business (in foreign countries), anti-gun (except for friendly militias) , pro-grovelling and apologizing.
Why shouldn't Kerry be SOS, under those conditions?
