Former GOP candidate for governor of Arizona Mike Harris blames Israel for Newtown Massacre
Israel Unseen ^ | Dec 19, 2012 | admin

Mike Harris is contributor to a publication called VeteransToday.com. If you peruse through it closely, it’s basically a website for former military officers turned Ron Paul types or “vast Zionist conspiracy” kookoos for Cocoa Puffs.

Here he is on Iran’s state-run PressTV blaming Israel for the Sandy Hook Elementary massacre.

I think the owner of VeteransToday was on FR a while ago trying to pimp his site as a “military site”, along with his rather odd theories.

“I think what they mean is that he was a candidate for the GOP nomination, which he did not get.”

I live in AZ and have NEVER heard of the jerk!

There are times when comments cause one to reflect, get upset, get angry, or become incensed. And then there are times when a series of statements can be so egregious, that they cause one to ponder the ascent of man, and wonder if we are not beginning to sink back into the primordial muck.

This guy is a disgrace to humanity. Search no further for the missing link. It is alive, but very very sick.

Though Ron Paul is considered to be anti-Israel by some, he's never said anything remotely resembling this nonsense spewed by Harris. So this writer is off base to throw Ron Paul into this mix. The closest I've heard to this kind of rant by an American public figure came from Louis Farrakhan.

Just curious: What elected office, if any, has this Mike Harris ever held as a Republican?

He’s a member of the new Buchanan/Hagel wing of the Republican Party.

There is no "new Buchanan/Hagel wing" of the Republican Party. Both Buchanan and Hagel are old news with regard to their status in the party. And can anyone like Hagel who wants to join the Obama Cabinet merit the designation "Republican"?

He came in third in the Republican primary of 2006 with 6.08% of the Republican vote.

Harris is as "Republican" as Michael Bloomberg Arlen Specter, Jim Jeffords, or Lincoln Chafee. Or Hillary Clinton.

Pat Buchanan did exactly one good thing - he left the Republican Party.

Nah, just a sick sense of humor.

I got the idea from a poster that I once saw stuck on a utility pole that accused the Vatican of owning all those things, and it pissed me off. I thought we Jews owned all of that.

Ahhh...but did you not know?

The Vatican and the Jews are “In Cahoots”, along with the Illuminati and the Klan. LOL

The GOP should publicly throw the guy out, IMO.

As far as I know, he never held public office at all, nor was he ever a GOP candidate in a general election for public office. So unlike KKKer David Duke about 20 years ago (who obtained a seat in the Louisiana state legislature), it's hardly worth wasting the party's effort on denouncing him because he's a nobody within the party structure.

It should be noted by contrast that inane anti-Israel and antisemitic remarks from much more prominent Democrats are nearly never repudiated by their party leadership, especially if those prominent Democrats happen to be black, e.g., Jackson and Sharpton.

Post 4 asserts that he was a primary contender in the GOP primary in ‘06. I wasn’t able on a quick search to find that info, just that he has or had affiiliations with the GoP. (I’m not disputing the posters assertion, I just couldn’t quickly find it)

Let’s not get sidetracked about the Ron Paul reference either. I posted this article because it was one of a few I’d found on the topic. The thrust should remain Harris’ spew and not the author’s personal opinion about Ron Paul.

Old bio here. Primary run for Governor six years ago seems to be it. Some sources refer to his as GOP campaign finance chairman, whatever that is. I hope his Jewish customers as well as any public school employing him as a substitute will reconsider. Particularly the latter, he has no business in front of children.
