A nephew was jumped by 5-6 blks in Boston a month back, while near Cambridge outside an eatery. They beat his head off the street giving him a double skull fracture, nephew was a big kid, super weight lifter, played on travel teams all through school, no wimp. He was in hospital 2 weeks, home with bad headaches. I remember telling him he better get his concealed carry a couple years back; and believe me when it happens to your own; you start thinking about it.
