Here's your choice: Fight or die

Exclusive: Phil Elmore insists gun-hating liberals 'want to murder you'

The war has begun.

The cultural war, the roiling but barely concealed “cold” war in which you have been enmeshed for years, has exploded into a full-fledged conflict. Where once the libs, the leftists, the Democrats in the United States were content to try to marginalize you – to define you through flawed “studies” and junk “science” as stupid, as uninformed, as less compassionate, as inferior – they are no longer satisfied with this cowardly tactic. Where once the major news media at least went through the motions of concealing their advocacy for lib candidates and “progressive” policies, they now proclaim their naked, brazen favor for them. Where once there were enough Americans to counter-balance the useless eaters, the “low-information voters,” the unemployed, disengaged flotsam of humanity who vote for “free stuff” from Uncle Sugar Barack, we have now reached a tipping point.

We’re outnumbered, and they know it.

It has always been the case that the shortest interval of time yet calculated by science is the time it takes a liberal to exploit a murder. Specifically, every time a shooting takes place in this country, liberal politicians trample whomever gets in their way as they race to the nearest television camera. Their goal: to punish everyone who did not do it. Being a liberal means blaming crime on inanimate objects – guns – while remaining steadfastly convinced that further constraining and forbidding firearms to law-abiding citizens will somehow magically prevent crime.

Liberals assert this while simultaneously admitting that the laws they propose will do nothing of the kind. They are obsessed with reconfiguring the physical world such that evil people will want to do harm to others, but simply won’t be able to. This is quite impossible, but achieving

Responsible people have a difficult time accepting the fact that retribution is the only thing keeping many of their idealogical opponents in check.

Furthermore, you can see from their choice of words that said opposition is usually hoping for someone else (presumably, the government) to do the shooting.

The assumption is they’ll come all at once. They won’t. They’ve had the smartest, most cynical, spiteful people working on this for years. While we were thinking with our families, our jobs, our God, our recreation, they were thinking about us.

I think the article flies ever so close to hyperbole.

You’re right, but it’s not universal. There are people who voted for Obama and are liberals who don’t want to kill me. It’s the political class and their media who are our enemies. Not the people around us. That kind of divisiveness is not what God intended. I saw a post the other day in which the Freeper said they can’t be friends with anyone who teaches in government schools. The government education is a tool of the enemy but come one.

Part of the problem is lack of real world knowledge. My married, 21 yoa daughter and I were talking about a SHTF scenario just last night. She is a conservative, gun owning American.

She just has no clue about logistics. Through our discussion it became obvious that she has no clue that once things go south that grocery stores will be empty in less than 2 days, ATM will stop working (meaningless since money will be worthless), there will be no cell phones, internet, or GPS. She talks about it like one of those stupid as_ed tv shows. She has a weakness for thinking that most all people are good and that nobody will try and take her stuff as she drives her car down the road to meet us. Luckily son-in-law has vision and sense.

I think that this head-in-sand mentality is rampant among most people and they just don’t want to admit how bad people really are. They cannot fathom that within hours of the financial markets failing or an actual conflict begins that every convenience they know will cease to exist as soon as the power is cut. You point out events like Katrina and they shrug it off like it cannot happen here. I told here honey there are 300+ million people in this country that means it is you and your immediate family ( about 20 souls ) against 300+ million - 20.

The years of electronic convenience and dumbing down of history has basically erased any capacity for self-preservation outside of calling 911 or buying something online and seeing more than 24-48 hours ahead except for planning a vacation.

I certainly don't agree with your assertion that the "assumption is they'll come all at once."So how do you suppose they could "do it?"

They don't have enough resources to go "all at once," and if they come in waves they'll get picked off by those further down the list.

Anyone with the slightest tactical awareness knows this.

They’ll use their goon squads on your house, shoot you and your family, plant something on your hard drive. Next week, while I’m settling in after church, trying to watch the Thunder game, they’ll shoot me and my family. A few people on FR will comment on it, and that’ll be it.

I’ve used this for years, though I’m getting more hesitant to do so as the left feels “empowered”.

I tell libinlaws that if they think they want to redistribute my wealth, come over here and take it.

Of course, no one ever does since they don’t want to consider themselves a “bad person”.

They will learn quickly, or die.

Lucky for you, your SIL will provide a leg up for your daughter.

It’s not unprecedented. Look at Elian Gonzales. If we took a poll of Freepers, about 25%-50% would agree with the Clintons on that one.

I submit your scenario is unrealistic.

Do you intend to sit on your thumb once you know they’ve slaughtered me and mine?

I guess what I’m saying is: We just need to live our lives, enjoy our families, serve God. Resistance really is futile unless we strike first. When they come for you guns, just give them to them unless you’ve got a good hiding place for them. We wouldn’t be the first group of people living under tyranny. It’s sad that we watched it flitter away but being besieged by SWAT tanks isn’t going to preserve it.

You describe “normalcy bias” to a T.

The veneer of civilization is thinner than most would want to admit.

They can’t get everyone at once, so the idea is that when “it” starts, the word gets out, and those who are “next on the list” simply aren’t where they are expected to be.

Elian Gonzales was a single point target, and everyone knew it; not a sweep of armed Americans. It’s easy to deploy overwhelming force in such a situation. Any feasible confiscation scenario would not enjoy such a tactical advantage.

Therefore, your example is not really relevant.

I’m afraid we’ll find out in our lifetime whether I’m right or you are. I don’t think either scenario is agreeable. I think we’ve seen already that the righteous can have their doors knocked down with HK’s put in their faces and WE won’t do anything about it.

I’ll get mad, just as I did then. I might even cuss, which I did then. But I have a good life.

There’s only so many “swat tanks”, and there are a lot of people who can get together and engage the enemy on their own terms once we know the veneer is off.

Even swat guys have families that live in the area. They can’t all go live on a compound for the rest of their lives. They want to live their lives as normal people as well.

“Therefore, your example is not really relevant.”

I think you’re wrong. Ruby Ridge, Waco, etc. If I wrong, it wouldn’t be the first time. Heck, I thought 0 was going to lose in November.

But I have a good life.

How good will your life be when the state threatens to take your children for teaching them homosexuality is wrong? (or insert relevant alternative principle you live by)
