In 1865, black Americans were well-positioned for freedom. Strong families, strong communities, good work ethic, eager to stand on their own two feet, eager to get an education and make something of themselves. Sure, some white folks wanted to stand in their way, but a lot of white folks wanted them to succeed.

Look at pictures of the crowds at MLK rallies in the day, black men and women dressed in white shirts and ties, nice dresses, kids clean with nice clothes.

In 2012, black Americans have destroyed their own families, destroyed their own communities, destroyed their own schools, they are dependent and feel entitled. Of course there are many exceptions, but far too many black Americans have no interest in achieving anything at all. Which is a shame, because the only thing standing in their way are themselves.

Now look at pictures from a Soetoro rally and see how the black community presents itself today.

Great Society my a$$
