My fellow American conservatives and those of you of the moderate conservative persuasion... May I ask you this simple question.... How "blazes" do you do it? How do you keep your sanity when everything is going off the cliff at EXPONENTIAL rates and there are absolutely NO human answers and applicable remedies in sight?.
Well... we know that you "DON'T" do it and that you are totally consumed with fear, worry and pessimism. I read it every day on your faces at work, at family gatherings, on Free Republic, on the news and media outlets etc... You are scared to death and there is no where to hide your pessimism. Your hope balloon has popped in your face and you are left with ringing ears and consumed with fear for what is at hand. Oh My dear friends, America's demise is just the tip of the HORRIFIC godless iceberg that we see in front of us (Rev. 6-19). Will you now FINALLY wake up to the Divine realities and the prophetic warnings which are found in Almighty God's INFALLIBLE Word? It is sad to say... but no you will not wake up and you will continue down your delusion until that Day over takes you. I have seen it time and time again and it is VERY VERY rare that an individual will truly repent and turn to Almighty God in spirit and truth (John 4:24). The Bible is absolutely full of countless examples and in just my little life I can testify to the validity of the Bible's examples.
May I ask you this simple question... How "blazes" do you do it? How do you keep your sanity when every thing is going off the cliff at EXPONENTIAL rates and there are NO answers and applicable remedies in sight?

For five years (since 2008), we here at the IFB have been sounding forth political commentary with a biblical perceptive with the end result that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand! We have pointed out countless in-depth posts and analysis of our nation's absolute fractured estate, decadence, lawlessness, secularism, sex addiction, abortion, narcissism, drug addiction, socialism ideals, delusional solutions, hypocritical remedies and godless estate. It was in 2006 when the Marxist Progressives won the House and Senate after a socialistic GWB sold out conservatism and our Founding Fathers that we knew it was over and we as a nation finally crossed the tipping point. It was from then on that we began to Preach to all Americans and to the world that the Day of the Lord is at hand (Rev. 6-190! With the 2008 election victory of Barack H.Obama, America's first hard core Marxist president proved our point was proved even further and in light of all the Tea Parties, rallies, conservative optimism and energy the Left has only gotten stronger. Oh how I hate to state that reality but my dear friends stand back and look and is it not so. Then when all the evidence of Obama's disastrous four year dealing with our economy, morality and global relationships didn't matter a hill of beans to the American people after four years of this man's socialistic Marxist tyranny and we as a nation reelected this Marxist for a second term... well you might have to come to the conclusion that the jig is up by now... and it surely is. But yet clueless conservative "optimistic" scoffers abound (2 Peter 3:3) and conservative "optimistic" haters love to call us (IFB) quitters, sellouts, bigots, religious zealots, traders and allies of the Lefts agenda, Bible thumpers and my personal favorite, "ignorant". The majority of these comments come from conservatives from the largest Conservative political website forum in America, Free Republic. For the past 5 years we have been feeling the spiritual temperature there and have found that moral relativism, Biblical ignorance, conservative optimism and Christian ecumenicism dominate the forum. Thank God for Free Republic, they mean well and are a great group of people who truly love America as I do but that is not enough to aid us in our hour. Thank God that there is some God fearing, Bible believing, evangelical presence there who help point America's conservatives to the REALITY of our hour and Almighty God's Biblical perspective, but even these are usually scoffed at and laughed to scorn by American conservatives who are without a saving relationship to Jesus Christ the Messiah of Israel (Isa. 53, Matt. 7:21-32, Rom. 10:2-4). Tragically the dominate spirit there is one of unbelief, conservative optimism, spiritual delusion and ETERNAL blindness (Rom. 10:2-4). The temperature and climate of American conservatives who actually believe the Bible and its saving message is dead and ice cold and that was a heart breaking reality that God the Father has had to show me and with tears in my eyes I wish I could change it but I cannot choose for an individual to receive the Savior.

My dear friends, Oh how we need Divine REALITY today and not delusion and worldly solutions for our EXPONENTIAL global crises. Almighty God cries out to you all day long but will YOU receive Him and His ETERNAL solutions for your life? That is the dire question ALL must ask themselves in these last days. All these current events and crises of our global community are self induced by the lawless and godless works of fallen man (Rom. 1:18-32, Gal. 6:7). These products of evil men and their consequences are left in place to bring us to the brink of our delusions so that we may come out of our subjective selves and show us our desperate need tor the Savior, His pardon, and His RIGHTEOUSNESS.
My dear friends, WHAT WILL YOU DO? Will you continue to look for worldly solutions and human saviors or will you finally come to the end of yourself and receive the KING of kings and LORD of lords who is the WONDERFUL COUNSELOR and PRINCE of PEACE (Isa. 9:6-7, Rev. 19:11-16). All ETERNITY is before us and our brief existence in this fallen world is about gone. See the ETERNAL, see the Savior, see the REALITY and you will find the liberation and peace of Almighty God that will calm your hearts in America's last hours.

Perhaps you need to read the Scriptures beginning at Genesis and believe God and not foolish religions and cults. Such thing as yours prove the church age is coming to and end as more foolish lies are taught as religious dogma that are totally unscriptural.

This is one of the current modern mysteries that I simply cannot understand.
In the effort to try and understand a mystery that may not yet have an answer, there is a default tendency to simply blame Christians for “not being godly enough” or for doing this or that “wrong” or “not committed enough”. I think there are a lot of people who are genuinely committed to the cause of Christ and who are committed Christ followers.
On some level the Holy Spirit has to lead people via His Spirit and, frankly, I have not seen evidence of this, or at least to any significant degree.
I can only hazard a spiritual guess that the Lord is using this time to bring souls to Himself in places other than the West. It appears that remedying the plagues we have collectively brought upon ourselves is not of importance to the Lord.
I find great solace in Psalm 37 where these things will continue - and decline - but on balance we will be spared. Not that we won’t be impacted, but those who hold fast will make it through.
My flesh wants to make a stand. I’m not sure that’s in the Lord’s plans as he seemingly has not laid that on the hearts of others or has raised up leaders.
On one hand, I feel like I’m flailing about and not being useful. On the other hand, I am open and listening to hear and do what the Lord commands.
The bottom line to me seems to be that whatever actions are necessary must come from the urging of His Holy Spirit. This may yet come, but I do not yet see it. To blanketly blame believers for not being committed enough is simplistic and, in my opinion, not wholly accurate.
There are many who long for the leading and moving of the Holy Spirit. It is up to the Lord to prompt the hearts of men unto action.
kindred, you have no idea at all when the end times will be. None. That time could be thousands of years distant. You have no more idea when the end will be than frauds like Harold Camping - and you shouldn’t be suggesting that you do.
Human history is littered with times of great upheaval, world war, etc. This country has even had, arguable, a far more socialistic President than we do now - and FDR was elected four times and fundamentally changed this country more than Obama will probably ever do.
So your original post mostly seemed to just be one big complaint that FR wasn’t religious enough, and now you’ve gone on to claim the end is near when most reasonable people know you haven’t got a clue.

Biblical prophecy teaches of the consolation of Christ and it may or may not be the last generation before the return of Christ. Yet, Israel being back in the land for the 2nd time as God has done warns us that it may be the last generation before the coming of Christ, the lamb of God, as King of kings and Lord of lords.

Another related illusion is the idea that the USA is the whole world — and seeing it fail equates to the whole-world crisis foretold in prophecy. No it isn’t; and it likely doesn’t. Christianity is a whole-world thing. Great nations rise and they fall; that’s boringly normal.
Ummm....those that defended the Alamo lost. I, for one, do not intend to lose. Nor give an inch. A foot. A yard. A mile. Nothing.

I believe there are indications in the Bible that the whole world must be exposed to the Gospel before it happens. I do not know that this has happened yet.
Fretting about it won’t serve any purpose. It may well be that the Lord has plans for this Earth before He returns.

Some bible translation ministries are guesstimating that it will need only a few more decades until there is a bible in every still living language on earth; then such preaching will be possible. Progress has been greatly accelerated (not too long ago this task was projected at over a hundred years) by the advent of powerful computer software that takes the place of the old boxes of index cards, and which can generate draft translations very quickly for human review and refinement. Translations in similar languages also help the computer make better guesses about how to handle translations in new languages.
