It is treason, no doubt. Imagine a senator of the United States of America doing all she could do to frustrate the First Amendment, by proposing to outlaw certain kinds of books, but also all pens and all paper and everything else that would effectively make free speech impossible and take away that right from the American people. Even a dumb liberal would understand that that was treasonous. She’s sworn to uphold the Constitution, not tear it down.

“She’s sworn to uphold the Constitution, not tear it down.”
You could say that all of the left is guilty of treason, but we will never see any of them tried in court.

Wasn’t treason once punished by firing squad?

Irony is so ironic.

Here is the link to the petition. Needs 15,970 more votes at time of writing this post for the WH to be induced to respond. Climbing steadily, AFAICS.

Of all of the petitions that have reached and surpassed that threshold, how many have they responded to?

Usually hanging was the punishment for treason in the USA, which IINM goes back to a Biblical punishment that denoted someone cursed by God. I can’t find any examples of execution by firing squad for treason, in the USA that is.

Don’t like her, but it isn’t giving aid & comfort to the enemy.
A senator, or congresswoman , gave classified documents to saddam Hussein before the start of the Iraq war and nothing was done to her.

It is levying war against the USA by an attack on the Constitution, though—even worse by someone who has sworn an oath to uphold said Constitution.

I would think that disarming the American people would be of considerable aid and comfort to almost all enemies of America.

Even if there were 50 million signatures or the same amount that Obama received in the last election NOTHING will be done. The government despises all that are not them.
I am hoping aliens will come down and give them what for
sort of like what happened in the movie Independence Day although no one in the governemnt would escape from the grips of the aliens.

I can’t think of any nation off my
head that would be worried about armed us citizens. Our military would be their only concern.

Pursuant to her wishes to outlaw military rifles, her sentence will have to be carried out with the "Death by a Thousand BB Guns."

I’d also point out that there have been two major invasions of America going on for years and neither of them is being conducted by a nation. One, the illegal alien invasion and two, the invasion by Muslim jihadis. I think the latter in particular would be greatly encouraged if 100 million Americans were relieved of their firearms by their own government.

That's a pantload. The number and quality of arms in civilian hands has increased exponentially. Not to mention how well-trained and ruthless Japanese troops were and Admiral Yamamoto knew it.

True, but if any foreign army is on US soil the US military would have been destroyed and
Our citizens would mostly be nuisance .

2nd amendment is necessary today to defend life of self, family, and fellow citizens.

If you want to defend against foreign army you would need to walk on our over run military base and recover more powerful weapons.

They didn’t have gps and UAV’s in the old movie Red Dawn. Movie was kind of silly that all of our jets, bombers, and choppers were destroyed.

Treason against the United States shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.

It reads:

WE PETITION THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION TO:
Try Senator Dianne Feinstein in a Federal Court For Treason To The Constitution

The text of the petition states:

“The Constitution was written to restrain the government. No amendment is more important for this purpose than the 2nd amendment. The 2nd amendment was written so the power could be kept with the citizenry in the face of a tyrannical government. It was well understood the Constitution acknowledged certain rights that could not be limited by government.

Senator Dianne Feinstein has made it clear she does not believe in the Constitution or the inalienable rights of Americans to keep and bear arms. She is actively working to destroy the 2nd amendment with her 2013 assault weapons ban. For this reason we the people of the united States petition for her to be tried in Federal Court for treason to the Constitution.”

The petition is a response to Senator Feinstein’s proposed legislation that seeks “to stop the sale, transfer, importation and manufacturing of military-style assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition feeding devices.”

A day after its posting, the petition had 3,065 signatures. It will need a total of 25,000 signatures (or 21,935 more) by January 26, 2013 to garner a response from the White House.

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.
That is the oath of office that Feinstein took. Her bill is waging war on the Constitution instead of defending it. Only thing missing now is two witnesses. Given the state of the judiciary today, I would have to call the Father and the Son, since no power on earth can dare persecute them.

I submit feinsteins proposals are a change of the 2nd amendment and should only be proposed by constitutional amendment her proposal is tantamount to overthrowing the constitution and punishable as a crime

http://foavc.org/file.php/1/Articles/18%20U.S.C.%201918.htm

18 U.S.C. 1918:

“Whoever violates the provisions of section 7311 of title 5 that an individual may not accept or hold a position in the Government of the United States or the government of the District of Columbia if he (1) advocates the overthrow of our constitutional form of government [and] shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year and a day or both.”

congress should remove her from office for violating her oath, and im sure eric holder will investigate this immediately, clearly feinstein is a domestic enemy of America/s

Some people REALLY should read the Constitution some time.

“Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.”

What she is doing doesn’t fit the description above.
