I quit//retired before the election. I was a day trader for 13 years, put my own money at stake every day. Couple of months ago my brother who hasn’t worked in about 3 years called me. He has a verifiable illness and has been waiting to get on social security disability. He also has 6 rentals and lives in a house that he paid cash for but has no verifiable income. So he got sick and went to the hospital after which he called me bragging that he now has Obamacare and gets to go to the best doctors.
I got so angry I did not work another day. My husband and I pay almost $1000 a month for all our insurances plus we pay major taxes all year and have to write them a check in April. I said no more, Obama is not getting any more than I have to give him.

Yup. I got 5 years left. Retire around 53 or 54. Don’t need much stuff. iPad gets me all the books and movies I will need and I should have a nice enough nest egg to live minimalist, clutter free existence someplace down South if they will have me. If just 10% of underemployed Whites would go on the system. Food Stamps, Welfare, Housing assistance, and Unemployment or the Democrats favorite Extended Unemployment. Then the system would quickly go broke and all Gubmint payouts would end. Instead of working two or three Clinton style jobs these hard working whites should quit and apply for assistance. 9 out of ten Obama supporters drive new cars have free phones and eat better than many who are employed. If whites would just work together and get educated about the assistance programs available like the fifth generation welfare recipients out there lining up to support the dear leader do then we could stop the handout crap.

My son, 18, enlisted in the USMC and is due to go to Parris Island in January. He lost his retail job in October and couldn't get another one full time (partly because he cannot conceal his military appearance, and when questioned about it had to tell the truth, so no one wanted to hire him for such a brief period). Instead of working, he's been earning his keep by keeping himself and me, his mom, supplied with meat and fish. The experience has given him a lot of deep confidence. He feels proud of himself by contributing in this visible, substantial way, more so than by getting a puny paycheck; it taps into something deep in the psychology of the male. There is real value for a man in really, not metaphorically, "bringing home the bacon" for his loved ones.
