This is why smart companies always plant software bombs in their computer systems, so that unless an elaborate code is entered at intervals, the ghost in the machine goes all kinds of poltergeist-y. By which time you and your people are well out of the country with whatever assets you can smuggle out.
It also helps if a bunch of your critical systems are proprietary and unique enough that only you make them, and they are essential to operations.
Of course, it also helps to have some concealed thermite charges that can be activated by remote control.
