India..Brilliantly Industrious/Incredibly Barbaric
Dec,30,2012 | Floyd A. Logan

Posted on 12/30/2012 4:16:03 AM PST by San Rafael Blue

A young girl in India was attacked by a small gang of local youths. This girl was assaulted ,tortured with a metal rod. The rod was used to beat and sodomize her. Perhaps mercifully, the teenage girl died this week while being hospitalized for severe internal injuries plus numerous infections.

Her family and neighbbors are outraged. There is suspicion that the crimes are going to be ignored, with police aiding the cover-up. There were many outbreaks of violence earlier this week. Many conclude that the accusers will probably not be punished with any level of severity if the public does not demand rapid and obvious justice.

I find it sad and startling that this attitude toward women, or toward any other human being is tolerated, presumed and defended in this day and age. I know or have known many people from India, the majority have impressed me as being very intelligent and perceptive.

Don't we Americans already depend on them for phone-in Customer Service? That's just one example. Sure, that accent may be heavy at times, but for the most part, these people do know what their talking about, enough to break it down a explain to an inrate, spoiled american consumer.

So this same culture when not being nagged about Human Rights, when not being tattled on by the Red Cross, reverts back to the caste way of thinking. Different classes of people deserve varying degrees of compassion or legal represenation. I know, some countries will say the same abous us in the US of A. Well, at least our court system is not as blatant in it,s occasional duplicity. This savagery disturbs me, I thought that it was Pakistan that was the inpredictable 'wild child', where they riot fullbore over nothing, where barbarity rules the day and the night. Maybe India is so big, as with China, that its' going to take years, if not decades for all the lands of India to become more modern.

"Inrate": New slang word in Ind-glish meaning irate, ungrateful American.

Nothing has brought, and is bringing, India along so quickly in these matters as its new-found economic strength.

Yes, it still has many ‘backward’ and barbaric practices, but they are at least on the decline. Also, there are other ways in which India has long been culturally advanced.

Apart from a small, emergent, Westernized middle class concentrated around Mumbai and New Delhi, most of India remains a backward, premodern society.

Well, if they don’t like spoiled Americans they don’t need the job. I’ve worked around a lot of Indians in the IT world and they are not supermen, we’ve just been propagandized into believing that Americans are crap by the people who benefit from cheap labor. I’m on the phone with Indians every day and I really don’t have the time to spend figuring out what they’re saying or going through checklists or dealing with a cultural disconnect.

In the case of India, which has long mastered the art of religious rioting, anti-crime vigilantism would definitely be a big step up.

Just kill the rapists. Sodomize them with knives and then beat them to death. Then maybe the police and courts will get what they need to do.

Yeah right, step up. Barbaric India recently carried out a trial and hanged a Muslim terrorist. Civilized and freedom loving America recently granted immunity to a Muslim terrorist. Tell me about step up.

Well someday India will be very advanced and hopefully we will see mass shootings more often, especially small children inside schools. Not just one odd rape murders. Until then India will be backward and barbaric.

Vigilantism happens when government either doesn’t protect the citizenry from criminal, or worse, takes the side of criminals against the citizenry. More than anything else it is a plea to government to do its job.

Importantly, vigilantism ends if government steps up to the plate and does what it is supposed to do. If this means hanging, that fits the bill.

However, in gigantic India, since 1995, the death penalty has only been used three times. And I truly doubt that just the death penalty, rarely used, is adequate as far as the Indian public are concerned, in stopping not just the capital criminals, but all the other violent criminals.

And this is where vigilantism comes into play, to provide law and order. A great secret of America is its second amendment, in that because there is far more land than there are police to patrol it, every armed citizen in effect, *has* to enforce the law themselves, when they have to.

This is the very essence of vigilantism. To imagine that the police are not the keepers of all law and order, but are the employees of the public, a convenience, so that the public do not have to be vigilant at all times. As such, they are both security guards, to deter crime at inconvenient times and places, and detectives willing to spend the time to pursue criminals acts after the fact.

And this elaborate description is to explain why vigilantism would be a major step up from tribal and religious rioting, embracing the law over sectarianism and criminal violence.

Of course, if the government of India wants to hang a whole lot more criminals, that would be good, too.

“No need to get so worked up over one of your own kind spewing about you.”

Actually, I’m not all that worked up and I certainly don’t need a lecture from you on how to form my opinions.

That’s good to know you weren’t at all worked up through all the rage spew against Indians.

And while I believe every retard had a right to form their own opinion, I believe some do need a little extra help to form theirs.
