An effort led by Vice President Joe Biden to find ways to reduce gun violence after the Connecticut school massacre so far has not included talking to the National Rifle Association, the president of the gun rights group said on Friday.

NRA President David Keene said neither Biden nor his staff has contacted the organization since President Barack Obama unveiled the effort on December 19.

Everything obama says is a lie.

He's not coming after our guns....sure.

Gun owners will be included in discussions.....sure.

Contact your reps and let them know that this bill must be DOA. It is unacceptable in any form!

He is a snake. Remember when he promised America that they could all keep their health insurance and that he would lower rates?

He’s lying about gun rights, too. He’s totally ideological. He will do all he can to criminalize gun owners and those who defend themselves against “Holder’s people” or any criminal on his dark side.

To paraphrase the old Fram Filters commercial,

“You can talk to us now,

Or you can talk to us LATER.”

We’ll start with the repeal of the NFA of 1934.

No mention about getting guns out of the inner cities.

They are targeting the law abiding gun owners, making them into criminal.

Until Sandy Hook, “gun control” was just a dream for the commie ‘RATS. Then they received the mother of all Christmas presents. They can’t afford to let it go to waste. Exploit, exploit, exploit.

What a waste of time, just pass a law saying it is illegal to kill school kids while they are at school. Sheesh.</sarcasm>

Fortunately for us all, that Emmanuel creature has explained the method:

You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. And what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.

His is not a representative government of anything. Let's say this again:

The NRA is excluded from all 'conversations' held by the 'Administration.'

I don't know why people are worried about secession. 0bama's people have already seceded.

We don’t need to the NRA to buy and use weapons. Besides, the NRA did enough damage to our purchasing abilities with their 1934 NFA and their 1968 GCA that prohibited all types of sales. If it weren’t for them we could be buying guns in the mail, across State lines, and without NICS.

Excellent point.

Makes sense. Back in ‘09 the oil industry was not invited to talks on energy policy.

Some of the creepiest images are those of prisoners kneeling at the edge of a trench with hands tied behind their backs and a German/Chinese soldier pointing a muzzle to the back of their heads.

I will NEVER go out like that. For the life of me, I’ve never understood how someone could end up in that position. Damn, I see those images and think to myself...self, go down like a man...fighting.

The NRA didnt start its lobbying arm, the NRA-ILA, until 1975. To blame them for prior legislation is dishonest.

That is true, and given the nature of the left, if it weren’t for the NRA, we would have either already lost all of the 2nd amendment, or we would have already had to preserve it by force. Ultimately it may be up to US, not the NRA, to preserve it. It is, after all OUR job to preserve it in the face of tyranny. Those instructions were given to us long before the NRA existed.

"The NRA didnt start its lobbying arm, the NRA-ILA, until 1975. To blame them for prior legislation is dishonest."

Sorry, but your comments are bold faced lies. You repeat the NRA's position about their "sporting purposes only", anti-gun, past that until they formed the ILA they did not lobby or interfere with laws when by their own statements they did. So, here, let me prove you are a liar and an NRA propagandist by posting their own comments. Their words don't show they stayed out of legislative efforts until 1975 with the formation of the ILA; they simply got stronger after forming the ILA.

And, no, I don't care about "winning friends" by being nice about these subjects such as firearms when those “friends” lie against us. The truth in these matters needs to come out and stay out and if that pisses you off then screw you. I am tired of people bulling We the People and then demanding we just take it!
