I agree. I wondered why the Dad hadn’t decked him for stupidity.....before they left.
They’re very selfish to risk their child’s life and the lives of our military. I hope the price for their stupidity doesn’t involve anyone’s death.
Hopefully, they somehow get out of this alive, but I doubt it. If they do, I hope we don't have to put our troops at unnecessary risk to help them do it.

For the sake of accuracy, and as a favor to the terminally stupid, I should add that it's true in any and every major to large city in the United States with a MLK St., Ave., Blvd or Rd.
Nope. I would think if they wanted ransom money, they would have certainly contacted the U.S. by now for it. This leads me to believe they were captured and likely killed by the Taliban just for being Americans.
