Is this the same Coburn I was so crazy about, that ended up at the elbow of his “good friend” Obumma, who promptly used him and dropped him to pursue & embarrass Paul Ryan’s singular effort at doing something, anything, to help address entitlement spending, SS? The same Coburn, who spoke of Pelosi, whom he said, “happens to be a very nice lady”?
Coburn is a straight arrow, but tries hardest to do absolutely nothing with it. Ever. Why is that?
It is not enough to say you will not vote for someone. Will you do everything possible to stop the nomination? Put a hold on it? Filibuster? These words are nice but no longer sufficient. We need 100% commitment.

The notion that Obama equates someone's statements protected under the first amendment with blowing up buildings is so offensive that it should have brought Coburn to an eye-popping , fist swinging scream. Instead he decided his "friendship" was with Obama was of greater value to him. This was the only chance in the 2008 campaign that the subject of Obama's associations could have been vetted; Coburn needed to take up the gauntlet to have at least the chance to use the angle that could have made a difference against the media smoke screen. Coburn should just move on off the scene and go back to the practice of medicine.
I don’t trust/like many/any of the 535 criminal, corrupt US CongressCritters. Their priorities: power, money, votes, re-election. America and constituents don’t seem to matter much to most all of them; a handful excepted.
