I hope I live in the country I think I live in, but I'm looking at the NRA video "Banned!" They took the weapons from Britain and Australia without a peep. I've told my wife for 30 years it won't happen in the US, but we still vote in the gun grabbers and now Obama?

Exactly my fear. We are on this EXACT same road - it starts with healthcare - done - then attack against our religious right - working on it as we speak (I mean if you are Christian of course) - public schools to endoctrinate the kids - done - and the last one on the list - confiscate arms - working on it.

Like Hitler with the Reichstag fire in 1933, the Connecticut school shootings will be used by Obama as a pretext for ending personal liberties starting with the Second Amendment. I expect Obama will soon end free speech with reinstating the "fairness doctrine" to kill talk radio and muzzle Fox News and new Internet regulations that will end blogging like this.

Read the Declaration of Independence especially the tyrannic usurpations of King George listed as the reasons for the revolution. You will see a lot of similarity to our times.
