Obama hopes to enact new gun-control measures in 2013

President Obama on Sunday said he would make gun control a priority in his new term, pledging to put his "full weight" behind passing new restrictions on firearms in 2013.

"I'm going to be putting forward a package and I'm going to be putting my full weight behind it," Obama said in an interview aired on NBC's "Meet the Press."

"I'm going to be making an argument to the American people about why this is important and why we have to do everything we can to make sure that something like what happened at Sandy Hook Elementary does not happen again."

A police Lt. from NC called in and said that officers, most of them “roid heads” in his area will start training next week with the ATF on gun confiscation. He said the training should last from 30-45 days. He also said he has been told to expect the economic collapse first and then the feds will start going after the guns.

Everyone is focusing on Dianne Frankensteins proposed bill, yet she knows full well it has no chance of passing as currently written.

I believe the legislation will be introduced...no doubt, but I also believe this is just a facade.

Obozo’s got a lil trick up his sleeve in executive action. The headlines will read, “Obozo signs executive order banning...blah blah blah”.

He will use as an excuse that congress is deadlocked on the issue and it is his duty as president to stop the madness.

This is exactly what hussein wants. As soon as the war begins, he’ll flee the country, chuckling at his success. What we need to do is appeal to the members of the House and Senate and see how important it is to them to continue to exist. They may think more rationally about the consequences to their personal selves.

The problem with what I suggested is that most people don't understand the essence of warfare at its core. Far too many people (especially young-ish males) have the idea that they're going to meet the enemy on a hillside 300 meters away on a nice day and that they'll die in glory and for a worthy cause...quickly... with a single shot... from a distance.

They never think of the midnight kidnappings, torture, extortion, deception and all the very unsavory elements of unconventional warfare. IF we were go on the offensive, America would turn into the Balkins times 100. But we love peace and are willing to suffer our enemy a certain level of platitudes.

It is possible however that our enemy run us to the end of our limits, and while I hope that doesn't happen, our enemies need to be aware that there are people here who know exactly what to do if that becomes our recourse of action.

If the "authorities" start confiscating firearms in this nation the streets will run with the blood of tyrants and patriots alike.

You would have to liver here to understand things. 5 Counties here gave Obama Illinois, that’s it. Between Chicago and the collar Counties and East St. Louis there is a sea of red.

The urban areas of Illinois may submit, but I doubt even that. If you think the Illinois State Police or even the National Guard is going to go into Englewood to take guns, well, I don’t think so.

If the Feds try confiscating weapons downstate there will be undertakers working three shifts.
