CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) -- Venezuela's vice president says Hugo Chavez has suffered "new complications" following his cancer surgery in Cuba.
Vice President Nicolas Maduro did not give details about the complications,

O what a bummer. I was planning to get a get well card for him but I have no money since Obama is taking it away from me. So I guess I can send him a Bon Vonyage as he ship sail away on the famous cruise line “Hell Boat”.

Well, Venezuela will be better off without Chavez.
Best case scenario, he recovers and sees the error in his ways and becomes a champion for good. Not likely though, Hugo is steeped in leftist ideology and will probably never understand why his economic platform failed so badly. Just like most leftists, they always believe socialism is fine if only it could be implemented the right way. They just don’t understand that human beings are not perfectible and any system that tries to defy human nature is doomed to failure.
Must suck that all Chavez needed to do was fly to NY and get over to Sloan Kettering but instead went to that cancer fighting Mecca of Havana.

Coolidge didn't go to Lenin's funeral in 1924; Eisenhower didn't go to Stalin's funeral in 1953; Nixon didn't go to Ho's funeral in 1969; Ford didn't go to Mao's funeral in 1976. But they were all Republican Presidents.
Keep in mind Eleanor Roosevelt's dictum that Communists are just "liberals in a hurry." If Obama goes to Venezuela for the funeral, he can see the utopia he plans for the US, but a couple of stages ahead of us.
