Stock futures are up. Someone in Congress knows a deal is going to take place. Information already leaked to big players. Futures were down -207 on Dow earlier today and are now up +23. Insider trading taking place. These guys are really slick.

I have felt the same way for a while. Obama wants the drama and chaos plus he gets higher taxes on everyone. Finally he enjoys watching Boehner and the Republicans beg and grovel

In any event, history will record that whatever happens, it happened on Ubama's watch. Twenty, thirty, fifty years from now nobody will remember who controlled the House and Senate, or who the Speaker was, or who the congressmen and senators were. They will only know that America went over the cliff anf the global economy tanked completely because the accidental African communist president demanded higher taxes.
The way I see it, if there is failure to make a deal, Obama gets big tax hikes. Obama gets big cuts in Defense. The economy will suffer. The Republicans will get the blame.
Obama is here because he needs a deal, and thought the Repubs were just going to cave while he sat on the beach in Hawaii. When the pubbies didn't fold, he had to come back to get a deal because if he doesn't taxes go up on EVERYONE. There are a ton of HIS voters that haven't paid taxes for eight years that all of a sudden will have to start keeping records and filling out forms. They will go bat-sh!t, and Obamugabe knows it, that's why he needs a deal that raises taxes on the rich, but preserves the dreaded Bush tax cuts for almost everyone.
Go over the cliff, Repubs, and watch Obama get impeached by his own people.
Taxes going up 50% on the working poor from 10 to 15 percent. Obama owns it. Jump baby and lets watch NBC and Hollyweird defend it.

I’m afraid you’re right. It will only raise taxes on the %53 that pay net taxes. This is going to be ugly
