I love when ridiculous people get so mad they resort to name calling. It makes my day!
I love it when I find people who have zero reading comprehension.
Yes, I know they never had it. Just wanted to prove that most of these people have never read the books and have no idea what the story was about. It was about love and what it took for a man and a woman to overcome tremendous obstacles and make that love work resulting in marriage and a happy family.
Fifty Shades opened up my world to some other remarkable novels and lots of great music (classical and otherwise). I think I have personally kept Amazon in business over the last six months.
I don’t believe the 50 Shades naysayers have any idea of the underlying financial empire that has been created. And, lastly, I would bet a majority of the 50 Shades devotees didn’t vote for Obama. SARAH 2016!!
Thanks for the post! I have to say I read a lot of literature & I was at first embarassed to buy the 50 shades books. I bought at a local bookstore & always w/ a female employeee at the counter. When I mentioned at the second book that I was surprisingly hooked she replied, “You & everyone else in town.”
It was to me a story of redemption and a true love story. I don’t mind people making comments, but when they are completely ignorant & obviously have not read the books, well I have problems. At least KNOW what you are discussing.
I actually think that it would soothe many people who have been in “Christian’s” position. A person who has been abused in ways which thankfully most of us will never know and finding salvation in love and finally having what they thought they would NEVER have; a family.
I went into it w/ my ironic sophistication firmly in place & ready to smirk & found myself enthralled w/ the story. It is a really good story.
I like what you said, many people commenting have never read it & therefore have no business commenting. If you have read all three & hate them I have more repsect for your comments than someone who has not.
Cheers for your well written comments! Happy new year!
