Greens confront own need for diversity (The Sex Poodle is too white?)

**SNIP**

The greens say their plight is less dire than the GOP’s, insisting that diversity exists in environmentalism, especially at the local level. It's nationally that environmental organizations — and the face they present to the country — too often drive the perception that green issues are the purview of white liberals.

**SNIP**

Rising leaders such as Bill McKibben, the 350.org founder who was named one of Time’s “People Who Mattered” in 2011 — white. Eco-celebrities such as Mark Ruffalo and Daryl Hannah — white. Leaders of the big environmental organizations, such as Sierra Club Executive Director Michael Brune — also, for the most part, white. (On the other hand, Sierra Club President Allison Chin, who serves on the group’s board of directors, is the first person of color to hold the top post in the 120-year-old organization.)

Might have to give Algore a pass on this one. Wasn't he at a tanning salon when he molested that woman?

Why is it ALWAYS about race with the left? If enviro-wackoism is such a great cause then people should flock ot it on its own merits. The “face” it presents shouldn’t matter. Does that make sense? I’m not sure if I explained myself clearly.

Because it *is* always about race with the left. However, the racism of leftist environmentalism isn’t just that it’s primarily a white upper middle class neurosis; it is also the case that the shackles of environmentalism impede the economic development of aspiring poorer — and darker hued — nations. Except when lefty white enviros give heavily polluted countries like China a pass on the criticism, then enviros are just hypocrites.

The mindless, middle-class white liberals are again wracked with guilt over their seemingly dominant position in a movement. What a surprise! LOL

‘Diversity’ is the religion of Greenies and other daffy liberals.

They want diversity in everything except for people who don’t agree 100% with them on every subject and issue.

Why are they worrying about who is white? They are all watermelons regardless of race.

Conservatives just have to sit back and watch Liberals devour their own

Rich White Guilt Lieberals can push all the fraud Global Warming/Enviro-Wacko nonsense all they want....but the reality is most minorities and non-white people outside the First World cannot afford “Greenie Weenie” fuels...it is still oil, coal, firewood, charcoal, cow poop, whale oil, or whatever, that is affordable to non-whites

The enviromental movement is more and more just a means to take away wealth and products away from middle class whites. Like Gun Control, High Taxes, Enviromentalism is just really Anti White Racism wrapped in a less offensive package

In the run-up to the 2004 campaign, when Al Gore was still rumored to be interested, a black coworker who had seen AG’s agitprop video stated how great Al Gore was, and the trouble the Earth was in. My reply was, “speaking of which, did you get the transmission problem fixed on your Lincoln?” His other vehicle was an SUV. Never heard about Al Gore after that. :’)

Thanks Libloather.

They have to find a bunch of black people who speak well or shout well and will accept large salaries to front for their organizations.
