At some point, sooner or later, all new parents experience that moment when they realize that this new little life is their unique responsibility. It can be a bit surreal. Holding your little one, it strikes you that a tremendous gift has been given to you, a gift that brings with it significant and life-altering responsibilities. I, who am a bit slow on the uptake, took some weeks to realize that I was not only able but also allowed to bundle up my tiny son in his car seat and take him out of the house to run errands....

Sweet story. Too bad that about 40% of new mothers only look at a child as a check from the government and have no real intention of actually parenting.

yep...got one of those in my own family. my wife and i end up parenting the grandkids more than their mother does. drives me absolutely crazy.

You betcha! Our grandchildren are our delight! It’s breaking my heart that 3 of them will be moving with mom and dad to a place that is much farther away from us. :-( Guess I will have to figure out how to make our stupid webcam work.
Yes get the web cam up and running , the legacy of grandchildren is one of Gods tasks for us not to be ignored.
