This is just like what’s happened in San Francisco since they tore down the Pat Brown double deck freeway to nowhere that ran along the Embarcadero. They built Pacbell Park for the Giants, tore down all the black housing and built upscale apartments now that there is a view of the bay.. Everything from the Bay Bridge to China Basin and Potrero Hill is being dozed and rebuilt and it has driven most of the blacks out of the city. When Willie Brown was mayor, he “arranged” to take over Treasure Island when the Navy left. Now all the former Navy housing there has become a black ghetto because Willie made sure that only blacks had the “opportunity” to move out there. It’s now a welfare community with a great view of the city.

Oh I didn’t think about that. Dang, tough break. But since this is all happening inside the Democrats’ own tent I can’t say that I feel really sorry for them. Petard hoisting and all that.

I don’t recall every seeing a major player in any union who was anything other than white and fat. My ex belonged to several union groups within the airline industry several years ago and, quite frankly, I don’t recall ever seeing any employees who weren’t white or male. Whenever there was an opening somebody’s brother or cousin was always found to be the most suitable employee.

Took my grandson to a baseball game in San Diego about five years ago. The entire two rows in front of us was filled with longshoremen, all white, fat and very loud. Reminded me of a bunch of thugs.

Black people with construction skills will have access to plenty of jobs.

Those with skills left that part of town. And who can blame them?
