I haven’t listened to Savage much in his night time slot.

Most afternoons, I now listen to Levin. The trouble with him is that he, like so many talkshow hosts, seems to have a small universe of material. Levin, after a while, seems to have the same topics and same takes on them. That was why I quit listening to Hannity years ago. Little to no variety.

At least with Savage, one never knows whether he is going to talk about politics or spaghetti sauce recipes. I listened to him just so I wouldn’t miss the day his head exploded on live radio. lol

When it happens it will sound something like this..

Nov 12, 2008

Start a 2:50.

I remember that. Bill Cunningham who had just taken over for Matt Drudge Sunday nights nationally thought Savage was attacking him as a "tinhorn lawyer," "fake" and worse. Cunningham started the "You're a great American" saying and his friend Hannity uses it too.

That really bothered Cunningham for a couple of weeks. I guess someone eventually told him that Savage was talking about Levin.. another close friend of Hannity's.
