House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Monday night that she will present the fiscal cliff deal to House Democrats as soon as it’s approved by the upper chamber.

“I understand at the present time, Senate Democrats are meeting with the Vice President,” Pelosi said in a statement. “When a final agreement is reached and passed by the Senate, I will present it to the House Democratic Caucus.”

Why would Bonehead put Rinos, the source of his power neck on the line?
My prediction. He won’t. There will be no vote on raising taxes on the rich.

Right. Boehner is waiting for the Bush tax cuts to expire tonight at midnight. Then tomorrow the vote will be on the “obama tax cuts”. Nobody will be voting to raise taxes. What an asshat.

A few years ago I was crossing the street - (50th st and 11th avenue in Manhattan for all of you who must know.) And as I was crossing, this truck made a right turn onto 50th and knocked me to the ground and cracked my skull.

As I was out, my heart stopped and I stopped breathing. I was dead for 4 minutes until the ambulance came and revived me.

But in that time while I was dead, I was mistakingly sent to hell, I found myself in a large stadium with millions of people all facing Satan who was giving a sermon in a lake of fire.

Suddenly an usher came up and told me my seat was waaay in the back, the very last row. When I asked him why, he said:

The row before you is all the people who helped Hitler get to power. The row after them is all the people who helped Stalin. The row after them is all the people who helped Mao.

I then saw that the seats in the very front were engulfed in flame, and Satan himself was vomiting the most horrible green acidic slime that could ever be imagined on top of the people sitting there. They were screaming in agony and the worst torturous hell and they couldn’t move and would be there forever and ever.

When I asked who those people where the angel said:

Those are the people who kept reelecting Nancy Pelosi.

This fourth round of agreement (today) is all from Democrat sources. The tide has turned, and the dems are trying to write the outcome. The media will soon (although they are a bit slow)reinforce the Dem line. Remember that both sides agreed to the outcome, and its time has come. Most of us agree the problem is spending, and we need to keep saying it, only louder! Drop your bellyaching and direct your energy towards the spending problem. Your support is needed for the few (elected) who understand this!

Yep. Only voting to reduce taxes on certain income levels.
The end result will be taxes on the rich anyway.
Just a lot of bad acting, deception, grandstanding and Kabuki Dances
to get the rich to pay more taxes.
I wonder what the DC Hacks will do to entertain us on the coming debt ceiling.

I thought all bills were supposed to originate in the House then go to the Senate. They got this backwards???

If so, I think I remember another time in recent history that happened. Anyone care to guess?

Yep, this fiasco is a good parallel to how kenyan kenyancare was force fed. And turning this into a tax cut vote is old time beltway jive. Total surrender monkey buffoonery. B&M are toast.

Where is JimRob to tell them BYE? LOL.

We are royally screwed, and screwed by those who said they would never raise taxes. All I can hope for is the House will not pass it, but if the Dems are on board, and they succeed in bringing it to a vote, it’s a done deal and the American people lose again.

Can someone refresh my memory about procedures for a discharge petition in the House? Is it possible that Pelosi can force a vote via a discharge petition? Or will the installation of the “New” Congress on Thursday defeat a discharge because of shortness of time?

Thanks,

Gwjack

A chosen few decide who gets taxed and how much behind closed doors and the ELECTED rest of them get to see it after the fact. Is this liberty or tyranny? I say in the next 4 years we have some fun a rake these bastards publically and relentlessly in all venues and forms of media over the coals again and again until we drive them OVER THE CLIFF
