François Hollande on Monday vowed to press on with his super-tax on the rich, despite a damning decision by France’s top court to throw it out as unconstitutional. But it is uncertain when a new version of the tax will be introduced and whether it will be watered down. …

“We will still ask more of those who have the most,” said Hollande. He added that the exceptional tax on France’s wealthy would be “adjusted without changing its objective”, but did not provide details of any new proposal. …

The tax remains overwhelmingly popular with the French public, 60% of whom approve of it. But the row over tax exile is raging after the actor Gérard Depardieu said he was moving abroad because taxes were too high. …

Why do liberals/socialist/progressive always insist on using the ask, when the proper word or term would be demand, take or steal.

At least France has a supreme court with more integrity than ours. How does Chief Justice Roberts live with himself nowadays?

Well duh, just like it is here, the non-working morons think money grows on trees and the wealthy own the orchards. It always amazes me when Rasmussen posts as “a big revelation,” that all of the Obama giveaways are popular at the same percentage level here. In other news, the sun came up this morning.

Roberts lives like this: begging the legislative and executive branches not to cut his branch’s funding, which seems a bit too late (and incredibly hypocritical) after his thumbs-up for Obamacare.

He could care less. He sleeps well at night. Washington DC is a place unto itself. They don't care about real American values or illegal immigration or the crappy economy outside of the DC region. All they care about is you sending them taxes to fund their recession proof party

Jay Carney is a fine example. He looked like a well scrubbed choir boy to me. Now he will tell any lie for Obama and spin it anyway that benefits Obama. All he cares about is what the people in the DC fishbowl think of him. He has no class, no conscience. He also sleeps well at night

Probably waking up every night wondering what the next threat to "release the photos" will be over.
