The Decline and Fall of the American Empire (Rabbi tells truth about Obama win and is vilified)
http://rabbipruzansky.com ^ | November 11, 2012 | Rabbi Steven Pruzansky

Posted on 01/02/2013 7:33:18 AM PST by NKP_Vet

"......as we awake from the nightmare, it is important to eschew the facile explanations for the Romney defeat that will prevail among the chattering classes. Romney did not lose because of the effects of Hurricane Sandy that devastated this area, nor did he lose because he ran a poor campaign, nor did he lose because the Republicans could have chosen better candidates, nor did he lose because Obama benefited from a slight uptick in the economy due to the business cycle.

Romney lost because he didn’t get enough votes to win.

That might seem obvious, but not for the obvious reasons. Romney lost because the conservative virtues – the traditional American virtues – of liberty, hard work, free enterprise, private initiative and aspirations to moral greatness – no longer inspire or animate a majority of the electorate. The notion of the “Reagan Democrat” is one cliché that should be permanently retired"

This rabbi is enemy #1 of every leftist Jew in the country. He tells the absolute truth about the Barack O'Santa's reelection but his life now will be a living hell. He might as well go ahead and have plastic surgery, move to Montana and live out the rest of his days. No peace for him in the Socialist Republic of New Jersey.

> “Romney lost because the conservative virtues – the traditional American virtues – of liberty, hard work, free enterprise, private initiative and aspirations to moral greatness – no longer inspire or animate a majority of the electorate. Ronald Reagan himself could not win an election in today’s America.”

> “There is no permanent empire. .....The most powerful empires in history all crumbled – from the Greeks and the Romans to the British and the Soviets.”

> “The American empire began to decline in 2007, and the deterioration has been exacerbated in the last five years. This election only hastens that decline.”

I thought exactly the same thing the morning after the election.....and it literally make me sick. I don’t think there is a way back anymore.

Iran will launch a nuclear attack on Israel within the next 18 months, or, Israel will have to attack Iran, sparking a huge Middle East war. This rabbi ignores that when this happens, all bets are off. Nothing makes America more conservative than being dragged into a war. Alternatively, Obama will interfere with Israel’s ability to defend itself, with profound political consequences here in the U.S.

This is a great piece, it's what I've thought since waking up the day after the election.

I wanted a conservative to be our nominee, but in 20/20 hindsight I can't think of one who would have done as well as Romney; all the ones I would have found as acceptable, who might have been the candidate (Palin, Newt, Perry, Santorum, you name them) would have been demonized and dispatched far more easily than Romney.

Added to the point he makes about the change in our bedrock assumptions of free enterprise, hard work etc, we also had the 15% leftist swing by media bias, then the conservative purist circular firing squad destroying every candidate, next they pouted and stayed home rather than vote out the Marxist usurper.

While the Rabbi’s premise is undoubtedly true, there may be another reason Romney did not receive enough votes...technological tampering.

If one considers how easy it has been for outsiders to hack into NASA, further consider how much easier it would have been for a tiny number of Democrat county IT folks to create routines to alter the vote counts arriving at the states headquarters. After all, was it Ohio that 57 precincts which voted 100% for Obama? 57 precincts in which not a single person questioned his direction. I understand another 100 or so had 99% percent Obama votes.

My statistics may be slightly inaccurate (apologies), but the point remains. If left wing nuts altered the outcome, then erased the evidence, it would be impossible to trace without a complete re-vote on paper...and that could never happen. We may have seen a bloodless internet coup.

I don’t think there is a way back anymore.

Things change. "You can't go home again"

I am not a religious person, but many things impressed me in the New Testament. One of them was this quote from Matt. 5:13
You are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his flavor, with which shall it be salted? it is thereafter good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

Face up to the fact that this country is not going to be the same again. Let's try to make it better than it is now.

One thing that will enter into the lives of us pampered, mis-informed and protected from reality US Citizens is something most people in the USA have not had in their lives for the last 50 years. Real world E-X-C-I-T-E-M-E-N-T.

Lets hope our transition from our dream world of the last 50 years to facing up to reality has good consequences, after the painful choices and encounters are made. - tom

http://matzav.com/rabbi-steven-pruzansky-taking-heat-from-mispallelim-for-criticizing-obama

“This election should be a wake-up call to Jews,” he says. “There is no permanent empire, nor is there an enduring haven for Jews anywhere in the exile…. We have about a decade, perhaps 15 years, to leave with dignity and without stress.”

http://baruchsbreeze.blogspot.com/2012/12/kabbalist-calls-for-jews-to-return-home.html

...Rabbi Eliyahu Leon Levi, a 73-year-old sage of Turkish Jewish descent who continues a tradition of Kabbalah from his grandfather and father, issued a passionate cry for the Jews of the United States to purchase homes in Israel and begin planning their move. He said that just like in Iran before the Shah was ousted, the Jews were prospering financially. But then suddenly everything changed, and many couldn’t leave with their wealth.

“A similar scenario will occur in the USA,” he warned. “Jews must leave and take their money with them. The day will come when they won’t be able to leave with their wealth,” he said...

A good case could be made that just not enough American feel the pain. Welfare is now noble and mainstream, and benefits abound. Although we do have food and fuel inflation, it is much less than during the Jimmy Carter era. Although income taxes are going up, they are still much lower for most Americans; the top marginal rate was aroun 70% during Carter and the income tax was paid by most Americans including the lower-middle classes.
We have to have much more PAIN for the average low information voter to wake up. The talk of 16T debts, unfunded entitlements over 100T, tillion dollar plus deficits, ratio of tax revenue to deficit or interest payments are just abstract concepts. The stupid people live in the concrete world, the world of 8 year olds.

> “Things change”

Yes, but not always for the better. I am afraid that the path to a better world will only come after it gets much, much worse.

Addicts can only cure themselves after they hit rock bottom. The people wanting “freebies” are addicts. They won’t change until they die or decide themselves that what they want doesn’t work (ie: hit rock bottom).

Unfortunately, my sons and grandkids will have to live through that time. I don’t wish that on anyone.

“The American empire began to decline in 2007....

.
Much earlier than that — 1945 would be more precise.

That’s when the US joined the UN.

Can anyone think what advantage was gained by the US in joining that anti-American organization?

Yeah, sure.

We really became conservative (conservatives rioting in the streets and fleeing to Canada) when we went to war in Vietnam.

Agreed.

Unfortunately, my sons and grandkids will have to live through that time. I don’t wish that on anyone.

The younger people today have been deliberately let down by an education system that failed to turn US citizens into Americans.
That system and the press has protected the citizenry from the harsh realities of life in our inner cities and beyond our USA Utopia of the last 50 years.

It's been bread and circuses for us. Now we have a legitimate worry about running out of bread. -Tom
