I have confirmed with a group of Congressmen that House Speaker John Boehner will not be reelected Speaker tomorrow.
He will either resign or be forced out tomorrow.
Only 17 members are needed to block Speaker Boehner's election tomorrow. A Speaker needs an absolute majority of all votes cast for a specific person.
If no one has a majority, the House is speakerless. I've confirmed these rules with the House Parliamentarian.

Good point. Even as a GOP presidential candidate, he couldn’t contain himself. I wish Gingrich would just become a Democrat. He would finally be given the credit by the media he thinks he deserves. It would be a win-win for everyone.

What all of this dialogue is saying is that there are any number of qualified people outside the House that would make an excellent Speaker. The flip side of that is that these a$$holes, left to their own devices (and a broken “seniority system” that isn’t found anywhere in the Constitution) elect the biggest turd in the punchbowl every time! It’s time to sh!tcan the “it’s my turn” mantra.
I know. I do have to call foul on that, though. Saying FDR is the greatest president of the 20th century isn’t “bashing” Reagan. Even though I feel Gingrich felt that way towards Reagan, technically, the headline is not accurate. (I know it’s not yours) We don’t want to be like Rather - “fake but accurate.”
Please do not put Canter or another RINO in. Choose a real conservative like Allen West.
