Cliff Deal Only Whets Obama's Appetite For More Taxes

Taxes: Anyone who thinks the fiscal cliff deal will end President Obama's soak-the-rich campaign isn't paying attention. Even before the ink had dried on his $620 billion tax hike, Obama was talking up his desire for more.

Obama hinted at this on Sunday on "Meet the Press," when he told David Gregory that "you are not only going to cut your way to prosperity" and that "one of the fallacies" was that "deficit reduction is only a matter of cutting programs."

Would someone who KNOWS how things are actually working please just tell me WHY the markets go up so much on poor fiscal decisions? How in the world does that happen, or why? I'm not asking for proprietary info, just WHY the markets go up on obviously foolish legislation? I would like a truthful answer -- no invective in return. Thanks in advance.

Every taxpayer is being pushed off a personal financial cliff with increased taxes, fees, licenses, Obamacare, etc., plus having to pay for more PORK spending by lawmakers who slide in millions for Hollywood, NASCAR, Puerto Rican run, electric motorcycles, and more. These congresscritters just don’t get it. Where’s the taxpayer revolt?

A lot of money going BACK into positions that were sold in December for accounting purposes.

People HAPPY that they weren’t going to see $3000 to $8000 tax increases.

Europe was up before the open.

Certainty... at least, a litte.. was restored.

Not sure I KNOW that much, but.... thems my guesses.
