Iowa Secretary of State Matt Schultz is moving forward to establish procedures for removing voters from registration rolls if they can't prove citizenship, with a public hearing scheduled for today that is expected to draw critics who want to stop the change.
“Schultz's proposed voter-suppression rules will unfairly target Latino immigrants, intimidate voters from exercising their rights and could result in voters' being purged from the rolls without cause,” said Ana Belen Mancebo, a member of the government watchdog group Iowa Citizens for Community Improvement.

Everytime the Democrats and liberals holler about Gun Control, Magazine limits, grandfathering, Tax Stamps for weapons, each Republican politician or official in this country should correspondingly implement a “draconian” rule designed to get illegal voters off the voting rolls. Tit for Tat.
Birth Certificates, Drivers Licenses, Original Social Security Cards (NOT Numbers), Government Photo IDs, NICS checks, and yes FINGERPRINTS, the whole nine yards. It’s what they made me do to get my CCW license.
For those American Citizens that would have to re-prove their elligibility, it is the price of true freedom from illegal invasion and corruption of our government.

good on him. i had to read the first sentence as i inferred from the title they were going to let non-citizens legal and illegal vote. i think the freak state does that for local elections because it isn’t fair the illegal criminals (but i repeat myself) living in the community and paying sales taxes don’t have a say.

I believe we should give the liberals everything they want and quit voting. Let the nation collapse and let's start over again with whoever survives the conflict. This is not saracasm. I'm serious. I belive that I should plan to start supporting liberal causes and help the nation head to the bottom as fast as possible. Apparently, that's what most of the people want.
The only thing that would change my mind is for 20-30 people to PM me and say they'll meet me prior to the next school board meeting at this particularly onerous public school and raise hell because of their liberal policies. Reps and Dems are tied in Iowa registration, so I’d say support for him is good.
While I don’t believe much good will come out of Washington awhile, state politics are different. Sorry about what is happening at your school, but something that small isn’t going to make me lay down for liberals.

It's not that small. That's only the last school I taught at before changing careers. Every school is full of liberals. Seems like just about no one cares about the problem.
And JUST how MANY times has YOUR name been on a School Board Election Ballot(mine has/I lost)? My name will be on there AGAIN.
