President Obama cut a video, distributed by his reelection, to reiterate his belief that the wealthiest Americans still aren’t paying their “fair share” of taxes and to outline a second-term agenda ranging from environmental policy to gun control.
Obama started by celebrating the tax increases — “making our tax code more progressive than it’s been in decades,” he said — that will take place because of the fiscal cliff deal.
“Obviously, there is still more to do when it comes to reducing our debt,” Obama said in the video. “And I’m willing to do more, as long as we do it in a balanced way that doesn’t put all the burden on seniors or students or middle class families, but also asks the wealthiest Americans to contribute and pay their fair share.”
Obama, who is vacationing in Hawaii, cut the video for his campaign list. “President Obama recorded a video to update supporters like you on what’s in the agreement and what it means for you,” Obama for America campaign manager Jim Messina said in an email today. . .

And that is exactly what he has done. The birth of a new auto manufacturer from the bondholders of GM debt were denied their rightful claim so that failed GM could remain in business. And the entire next generation of big banks have been shut down and swallowed by the current lot of failing banks-too-big-to-fail so that when they finally are allowed to fail, no one will be there to take their spot. Obama's handlers have done a splendid job of ensuring that America never takes it spot on the world stage as a superpower ever again.

I’m also p. sure that the Great Recession came soon after President Bush removed many, many layers of regulations. But will conservatives learn anything from that? Probably not.

Is it true that total spending is now in excess of the national GDP? If that's the case, it's a really frightening situation, given that the majority of treasury debt is now owned by "The Fed." I’m sure he is, but we need to push him to accellerate the plan. I bet his billionaire supporters, media moguls, and hollywood celebrities won’t like it when their messiah starts going after their accumulated wealth. If they turn on him, then the low-info voters will turn too.
Now it's the land of equal welfare checks.
The people he calls “rich” are not just the ones with the multi-million homes, luxury cars, yachts, etc. He wants to take everything from everyone — your pension, 401K, your savings, even the change in your piggy bank. Eventually, he will take your home and your old jalopy too.
This is something his supporters don’t get. I know some working people who support Obama totally. They think they are exempt because they aren’t “rich.” They are in for a surprise.
This doesn't end until piles of our skulls are stacked in fields.
If all the wealth of the top 1% were confiscated, it would fund the government for a little over a week, eight days or so if I remember correctly.

It is rational justification on this earth for there to be a moral obligation for one to offer up his wealth to the government's destructionist policies so that he may suffer his "fair share" of the damage it inflicts.

$144,000 tax-free and nobody has to go to work! In fact, they get more if there is no husband/father/man in the home! Not to mention free healthcare (Medicaid), plus a monthly card entitling them to free groceries
and a voucher for 250 free Obamaphone minutes each month. This does not include WIC and other welfare benefits...that they are “entitled” to.

Socialism and fascism are pretty much the same thing. Both have crony capitalism in them, under true socialism the businesses are mostly state run (but those who run them are treated like crony capitalists) and under social democracies there’s both, and the crony capitalism (basically inner party treatment) still occurs.

Heck in 2011 Baraq played more rounds of golf than my SIL who’s a PGA licensed pro. I tried to get the Pubbies to make a commercial about it.
Most people on the dole should have to do SOMETHING to get their $$$. Otherwise they are pure parasites.
I think the more usually used terms are “international socialism” (i.e. Marxism/communism), “national socialism” (i.e. Adolph and company), and fascism. All are “socialist”.
Then there are “social democrats”, who like socialism but can’t admit it to others or to themselves.
