I have a problem getting my mind around the concept of plainclothes cops.
They need to all wear uniforms and drive marked cars (and I am NOT kidding).
14" kitchen knives and pans of hot oil? I doubt it.
In any event, a firearm is the tool of the "citizen" trade.
I wouldn’t eat there either, too dangerous
All the time. We actually use to rag on them for looking like cattle auctioneers. Some were touchy about their status.
You could ask 100 Texans who are Texas Rangers and probably 75% will answer baseball team. Only natives or people who study Texas History or work in the business know who they are. We have had lots of US immigrants over the last 20-30 years.

That’s true, but Illinois isn’t a “right to carry” state yet. Court has said they have 6 months to rewrite the law, then we can legally carry like the other 49 states.

Personally, I would like to see a Denny’s employee walking down the street towards the police station with a french fry vat of boiling oil - my money says he doesn’t make it with anything less than 3rd degree burns over 100% of his body.
