Good to hear Rose live today too! Everything back to normal (except I have to take Christmas trees & stuff down today & tomorrow:) )

I think it was A1 (or something like that) in Washington, Co,. because I remember my middle son saying he wishes he had time to go there (but a long drive from where we are). There are only smaller gunshops out here.

Wow shopping took a long time this morning. The selves were almost empty! Wanted some canned black eyed peas to make some Hoppin' John's. They had only a couple of cans. Only one box of Uncle Ben's original white rice. They were almost out of bread too! Wonder why..oh wait....BO!

I love that story Rose tells about the person behind the curtain defending Gore!

This is what I have pretty much decided on getting.

Henry Repeating Arms Mare's Leg. It comes in .22LR, .44, .45, or .357mag. The .22 is MSRP of $360, the larger are around $950.

Needless to say I'll be linited to the .22LR because of cost.

Later I'll look for a large bore rifle and maybe a handgun. The Mare's Leg is classified as a pistol and comes with a cool holster! One thing is that even the .22 LR looks intimidating!

Morning! We always leave our tree up until the official end of the Christmas season on Jan. 6th. So we’ll be taking it down on Sunday.

Ace Sporting Goods at one time had a photo of Barack Obama up on the wall, with the caption “Salesman of the Month.” I think they might as well name him “Salesman of the Year.”

BTW, I’m still reeling from the two dreams—or should I say nightmares—I had last night about Hillary Clinton.

In the first, she and Bill were running a fast food chicken joint. I kid you not. I waited 40 minutes at the counter, and she never did come to take anyone’s order.

In the second nightmare, she operated a helicopter ride. I actually got in the helicopter. Then I woke up. How terrifying!

FWIW I just checked Ace’s website. They didn’t list or I didn’t see new inventory but they have some great deals on used firearms! One problem I have noticed everywhere is the VERY low stock on ammo. Even Cabelas was out of a lot ammo.

I lucked out a couple weeks ago, managed to snag a few boxes of 9mm and .38P+. Been looking for .22 shorts and can’t find any.

Yoi...I hope you can get some normal sleep tonight. Did you have something really spicy for dinner. I had really weird dreams a few days ago-I blamed it on the (delicious) Lean Cuisine Santa Fe Style Chicken Spring Rolls that I gulped down quickly when I came home from babysitting.

Did Yinz hear the Fox (Saudi Prince invested) “report” about the Promised Land movie on the newsbreak ? This is where Corbett better have a BACKBONE and keep the Feds OUT of the Marcellus Shale fields here in PA.

What did the Fox “report” on the movie say? I heard a little bit on WPXI this morning about the “local ties” to the movie—I presume that was about the local kid who appears in it. Quinn said yesterday that it’s the son of a friend of his.

Forgot to mention this morning...

The Pennsylvania Farm Show started Thursday with the butter sculpture unveiling. Lots of stuff televised on PCN on cable and on the net. It is a great source of entertainment and info especially for preppers!

The grandkids are online watching the incubator with chicks hatching.
