Do not increase the federal debt ceiling. Increasing it beyond $16,000,000,000,000 is unsustainable and unjustifiable. Petition: http://wh.gov/UpGJ

I don’t know what the sudden push is all of a sudden about these stupid White House petitions. Nobody there gives a rat’s ass about what any of think or want. Signing a petition to the WH is a complete waste of time...it’s like begging for a little of that illegitimate pretenders attention. I don’t want his attention and I sure don’t need those bastards knowing my name and address.

Signing the petition is a protest action. It sends a message to the media and others. There is obviously no hope that the socialists who have commandeered the White House will pay attention to the ones that do not serve their needs.

I had a nice “conservative” freeper tell me just yesterday that we had no choice — we have to raise the debt ceiling. Gotta pay for all that spending, you know.

Any other mandates you’d like to beg the emperor for?

These are B.S. devices to let out a little steam. Keep the kettle boiling but not exploding.

The only petition that will be heeded comes from the end of a steel cylinder.

Enough with the stupid petitions. NO ONE IS LISTENING.

The regime isn’t listening. Your Congresscritter doesn’t listen. The courts don’t listen. THEY DON’T CARE WHAT YOU SAY.

Fine, ignore me. Well, today I start ignoring you. Pass any bill you want. I REFUSE to listen. I REFUSE to pay. I REFUSE to obey.

For every law, there is a way to avoid it without going to jail or bankrupting yourself.

A number of people have signed the petition since this posting, so obviously not everyone in this forum is committed to being useless. However, many of you are obviously committed to inaction and making excuses for failing to do anything. You could have signed the petition with not much more effort than whining on this thread to justify your lack of initiative. So just give up! Go outside and clean your lawnmower or something. But please do not whine because the rest of us are doing more than just taking pot shots at others’ initiatives.

Pathetic moron playing right into Obama’s hands and encouraging the further dumbing down of the nation by promoting this fantasy of American Idol governance through online petition.

You sure told me, and made a fair number of wrong assumptions along the way. Go ahead and sign the petition. Enjoy...

Boycotting the corrupt media seems to have been a grand success. I’ve got a rope you might enjoy trying to p!$$ up.
