What part of the new law auto-signed by Obama while on his way to Hawaii says that someone making $30,000 will pay more Federal Taxes than last year? What part?

This hypothetical person’s paycheck takehome will go down but not because of Federal Taxes that I’m aware of. The law keeps the 2004 Bush Taxes cuts for them in place.

What this is really all about is that 2% of their paychecks for SS - back up to the same percentage they (this $30,000 earner) paid a couple of years ago.

Although you are right...It's still a tax.

And anyone who thinks that that SSI deduction goes into some account for your SSI....I've got news for you!!! HA!HA! ROFLOL!!!

When companies have to match every employee's SSI payment...it's a tax. When the self-employed have to pay double it's a tax. And when you die before 64 yrs of age...the Feds TAKE IT ALL!!!!!

It's a freaking TAX!!!!

And it's a freaking RIP-OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We will all pay more indirectly, if not directly, because tax increases on the "rich" always result in higher prices for goods and services. Tax increases are passed on to consumers (you and I).

People now paying nothing in taxes simply do not care, as long as they get their free "Obamaphones," and another extension of their unemployment benefits. Some of the unemployed are working "on the side" to supplement their unemployment benefits, I suspect.

Those feeding off the "largesse" of the government now outnumber the fewer voters actually working for a living. If not already, we will all be working for the union thugs.

Anf the irony is that many are Dim voters who thought tax in creases were fine (for the rest of us), and who argued that letting a tax cut expire was not really a tax hike. I wonder if they feel like they just got a tax hike.
