This photograph, released by the White House on Thursday, reveals the terrible moment when President Barack Obama was told the shocking news about the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

The President, who has described the day of the shootings as the ‘worst day of my presidency,’ is seen bowing his head and closing his eyes as John Brennan, his deputy national security adviser, informs him about the tragic events unfolding in Newtown, Connecticut.

In the wake of the tragedy, the president has tasked his deputy Joe Biden with leading a task force to look at proposals to tighten current firearms legislation.

A total staged fakery. Where's the Bengazi photo? Wait...

Totally faked. He couldn’t even get the town’s name right in his first speech.

After some reflection he looked up and said “let’s not let this crisis go to waist.”

Convenient that the WH photographer just happened to be in the Oval Office to catch the historic moment. I call BS.

That’s it? That’s the great magnamimous picture that the overpaid White House photobug captured??? This says it all, folks.

HE BLEEDING DOESN’T CARE ABOUT ANY OF US!

With THAT kind of reaction, it looks as though he just lost the office pool on some ballgame, somewhere!!!

BS. He doesn’t work in the Oval Office. He works somewhere else because he smokes and that’s not allowed in the Oval Office per national park federal law. So these days the Oval Office is just for photo ops. Unless he was already there for another staging, this picture is a total set up. Why is the general public so blatantly fooled by this crap?

B fn S! Even if this is the moment he heard about Sandy Hook, it was not his first re-action. Extreme glee was on his new found ability to get a fast n furious response and take out the 2nd amendment.

Would you like a copy? Just right-click on it and select copy-image, or for FR posting, copy-image-link.

Other than that, it is just the result of a google image search for “Ø smiling”, filling in its name instead of the Ø. (I can no longer write its name, and always use Ø instead, of something that is completely destroying my kids future)

And notice that the door to the oval office is propped open with the brass hardware, like this totally transparent administration has an “open door policy”, so anyone passing by can come in to worship the “won”.

That door propped open? There is no wood trim around the opening - looks like it is a secret door - with “secret” being more in line with this pResident.

And that “pose” is odd. I imagine some expert could get something from it. But the crossed legs and arms seem very nonchalant. When I turned on my computer that morning and saw the headlines I was alone at home and cussing and yelling and banking the desk with my fists - seriously. A mix of anger and sadness at the evil that had happened.

"With THAT kind of reaction, it looks as though he just lost the office pool on some ballgame, somewhere!!!"

No kidding. He is sitting on the back of a couch and has his legs crossed over and his arms crossed. Looks kind of casual.

You would think he would look more animated and agitated, and would be directly looking at his staff member who is relating to him a very horrible incident.

I think it is a photog set up to "catch the moment...the worst day for him".

Why doesn't he acknowledge the worst day for the families; I'm sure that their days are far worse than Obama's.

That is the photo I've been thinking of. Bush looks engaged with his staffer.

Obama looks like he's sleeping. So, he closes his eyes. That says nothing.

The eyes show the soul. Obama closes his and cross ankled leans on the couch. Bush's eyes are aflame - no doubt he was taking info in and making next steps in his mind.

Bush is criticized for continuing to read the children's book to conclusion.

What should he do? Get hysterical? Walk out on the kids? Scare the kids getting hysterical and walking out before finishing a children's story.

He probably didn't want to freak them out. How long would it take to finish reading a children's book.

He was roundly criticized but, for the sake of these children, I think he did just the right thing. After finishing the story, he got on to the business of what had been laid on his and the country's shoulders.

That is a picture of a sincere, decent man who actually loves his country. The look on his face conveys the gravity of the situation.

And no, he didn’t run around panicked in front of a group of schoolchildren. He is a leader.

I thought liberals were “all about the children.” Would they have preferred that President Bush have frightened them? Apparently so.

Body language says everything.

Zero isn’t able to summon up enough respect for the office he holds or the room he’s in to stand up when he’s being talked to by a subordinate.

Beneath contempt.
