(Vanity) Three things to Save America

Posted on 01/04/2013 2:00:27 PM PST by simka

1. Term limits for ALL congress members. No need to compromise their principles to win another term. 2. Voting rights for property owners only, or at least limited to Taxpayers. There is no sense in cancelling a well considered vote by some ditzy California deb who can't identify a picture of George Washington.( example Jaywalking, Leno show) 3. All laws to apply to lawmakers and the public EQUALLY

TERM LIMITS for EVERYONE . . . there’s plenty of smart, capable people out of 330 million, who can serve for public good or for a much smaller ego trip. NO RE-ELECTIONS, PERIOD. NO JOB HOPPING, one branch to the other, etc. 2-4-6 years, and THAT’s IT. We don’t need career politicians, “public servants” bureaucrats, etc. Plenty of talent spillover from private to public, then back to private.

Enough.

4. No candidate for public office may accept money from outside the district they would represent.

5. Any elected or appointed office holder convicted of felony crimes loses all perks and pensions acquired from their time in office.

Voting should be for property owners only.

If the voting was based on taxpayers, it’d be just like church. Sin all week and confess on Sunday. Rinse repeat. People would pay taxes every four years.

Property owners are dictated by the gov what they can do on their property. Renters have the gov to back them against the property owner. Owner gets punched on both sides.

Currently, there is only one party in Washington: The Re-Election Party. That party will not solve our problems.

We need a new party tht voluntarlily imposes term lmits on itself. That’s the best we can hope for. We need a party of patriots, uncomprimied ad fearless. A REAL minority party could advocate for the Copnstitution and limited government, and say NO, NO, NO, and HELL NO!

That’s the best we can hope for.

You’re talking 3 Constitutional Amendments there, Kemosabe.

Congress critters will NEVER vote to pass them. That leaves the Constitutional Convention route, which should frankly scare the crap out of you as it is bound to be taken over by the FDR Second Bill of Rights crowd (Right to a Job, Right to Housing, Right to a College Education...)

No person can hold any office or judgeship who denies the principles of the Constitution-—that our Rights come from God-—that Rule of Law includes the concept of Higher Law and arbitrary laws (unreasoned and unnatural) are unconstitutional.

That no “Rights” exist-—except those which come from God and the Natural Law which is embedded in Christianity——(that means all unconstitutional laws that include socialism—unequal taxation—special rights-—sodomy “rights” or abortion “rights” or irrational ideas which separate Reason and Faith in the Judeo-Christian God—is irrational and unconstitutional. )

With Higher Law concept—our Supreme Law in the USA-—God’s Laws are Supreme and NOTHING can eject God from our Constitution. He is embedded and can’t be taken out if the USA is to be the USA as designed by our Founders. Atheists/Marxists can not be judges or politicians, since they can never take an oath to believe in the necessary FACT of Justice-—that our Rights come from God—Absolute Truth.

Anyone who advocates ejecting God-—is ejecting all our Natural Rights and Reason and Justice. Natural Law Theory believes in a Designer of Natural Laws-—”Absolute Truth” which is necessary for Justice and unity.

6. Eliminate "withholding" taxes from everyone's paycheck and make the populace pay by check on April 15th.

7. Make Election Day April 16th.

1 and 3 perfect. Completely disagree with #2. Make sure they are citizens, but citizens absolutely, 100% should hv the right to vote.

Even better. All income is to be paid in cash weekly and the worker will return to the company cashier all federal, state and local taxes, deductions for healthcare and insurance, and non company pension plans (401k, IRA, Roth IRA. Just imagine that lazy worthless SOB who talks the liberal mantra seeing his pay physically being taken from him, dollar by dollar. In case you think I forgot union dues, the union can get their dues by direct collection from the worker at a time and place decided on by the local union bosses. The self employed would be responsible for making the appropriate deposits at their personal bank. Unemployment checks must be personally cashed at a bank. Go back to food stamps. Suspend all Obamaphone activities to 250 minutes per month, no texts and no data. Just the simple phone with no call waiting, call forwarding or caller I.D. Quit making it easy for the tax consumers to continue to prey on the tax payers.

This won’t save America.

What ails America is moral cultural decline. One of the most important causes of this decline is our nation’s godlessly nihilistic government schools.

As Malcolm X said:

“Only a fool would let their enemy educate their children.”

I would add:

Any elected official must resign his/her current position before seeking another elective office.
