Her health scare, though, has reinforced the concerns of friends and colleagues that the years of punishing work and travel have taken a heavy toll. Even among her peers at the highest levels of government, Mrs. Clinton, 65, is renowned for her grueling schedule. Over the past four years, she was on the road for 401 days and spent the equivalent of 87 full days on a plane, according to the State Departments Web site.
So many people who know her have urged me to tell her not to work so hard, said Melanne S. Verveer, who was Mrs. Clintons chief of staff when she was first lady and is now the State Departments ambassador at large for womens issues. Well, thats not easy to do when youre Hillary Clinton. She doesnt spare herself.
It is not just a matter of duty, Ms. Verveer and others said. Mrs. Clinton genuinely relishes the work, pursuing a brand of personal diplomacy that, she argues, requires her to travel to more places than her predecessors.
While there is no medical evidence that Mrs. Clintons clot was caused by her herculean work habits, her cascade of recent health problems,... SNIP
Clinton holds the record for the most countries visited by a secretary of state, 112, though her total of 956,733 air miles will fall short of the 1.06 million logged by her predecessor, Condoleezza Rice.
Unlike Ms. Rice, who is seven years her junior, Mrs. Clinton is not an exercise enthusiast. And her diet over the past four years has been a mix of exotic fare in distant capitals and airplane food. While the military stewards often prepared a bowl of cereal and berries, Mrs. Clinton faced her share of breakfast burritos.

I can’t think of one person, in the entire world, who wouldn’t be better off if Hillary just retired.
NYT “journalism” = hagiography.
Huma and Anthony Weiner would lose their access to power and sugar mama
“work so hard”????? How about travel around the world partying so hard” at taxpayer expense. Surely, nothing she has done has advanced US interests. She is a grifter, an intellectual lightweight, a serial liar, an enabler of a rapist and a loser lesbian drunkard. She(and her worthless “husband”) should be in a dark prison cell somewhere.
She Who Must Not Be Named does not have a health problem. She has a drinking problem.
That was not the result of a blood clot; it was the result of a Bloody Mary.
She did not have a concussion; she had a hangover.
Advanced alcoholism. This is how it ends.
“Mrs. Clinton is not an exercise enthusiast”.
THAT’s putting it mildly, to say the LEAST!!!;)
I think they’ve decided a country that will vote Obama in, including a second term with the nation in the dumper, will just swallow anything they write no matter how big of a whopper it is.
No rest for the wicked.
Strengthening and emboldening our enemies through inept and meaningless “actions”, weakenening and marginalizing our most historically consistent allies, and globe-trotting all over a world that is now in total and utter chaos; in other words waddling around espousing the current U.S. “foreign policy”, otherwise known as the the “jug-eared a$$ clown doctrine”... you mean that “work”?
Joe Pags had a caller saying that he has a source that says Hillary actually went for Plastic Surgery as a boost for her 2016 campaign.
Personally (no more, but in my younger days), I would work more and harder when I was troubled about something, but when life was right, I was cool and calm, fun to be with, etc.
I think cankles has been trying to get righteously laid for a long, long time.
LOL. That about covers it!
Scare adds to fears? I’m not afraid of what might happen to her. I am only afraid for my country because of her.
