A new EU poster places the hammer and sickle emblem above the Christian Cross and symbols of other religions. MEP Dan Hannan is rightly angry over this atrocity at his blog:
“For three generations, the badge of the Soviet revolution meant poverty, slavery, torture and death. It adorned the caps of the chekas who came in the night. It opened and closed the propaganda films which hid the famines. It advertised the people’s courts where victims of purges and show-trials were condemned. It fluttered over the re-education camps and the gulags. For hundreds of millions of Europeans, it was a symbol of foreign occupation. Hungary, Lithuania and Moldova have banned its use, and various former communist countries want it to be treated in the same way as Nazi insignia. Yet here it sits on a poster in the European Commission, advertising the moral deafness of its author (I hope that’s what it is, rather than lingering nostalgia).”

Are there even any Communist countries left in Europe? It’s incongruent to use an archaic political symbol which stood for atheism with all religious symbols. It’s senseless. What’s the star for, one of the stars in the EU symbol?
Expect someday soon Brussels to be just a smoking hole in the ground.

I’ve also noticed there are only 3 crosses and 3 stars of David, but at least 4 crescents, 5 hammer and sickles, etc...
Finding one is the hard part.
Seems appropriate to me. Europe is controlled by unelected, anti-Christian, socialist statists. They’re enroute to the same destination as the USSR. They’re simply taking a different path.

In medieval heraldry, stars were represented having various numbers of arms. The arms, whether straight or wavy, represented rays of light.
But in the late 1700s, the five-pointed star was settled on, due to Masonic influence.
The five-pointed star is often associated with medieval magicians and the occult.
I suspect that the use of the five-pointed star here is also due to the influence of European Masonry, as this infamous poster promoting the European Union evinces:
