Michael Moore Recommends Soldiers Punch the Lights Out of Citizens Who Thank Them for Their Service By Noel Sheppard Created 01/06/2013 - 8:16am
On New Year’s Eve, schlockumentary filmmaker Michael Moore made a resolution to stop saying he supports the troops.
On Thursday, Moore put an exclamation point on this anti-American insanity publishing a piece at the Huffington Post entitled “Those Who Say 'I Support the Troops' Really Don't.”
“I don't support the troops, America, and neither do you,” Moore began. “I am tired of the ruse we are playing on these brave citizens in our armed forces. And guess what -- a lot of these soldiers and sailors and airmen and Marines see right through the bullshit of those words, ‘I support the troops!,’ spoken by Americans with such false sincerity -- false because our actions don't match our words.”
“These young men and women sign up to risk their very lives to protect us,” Moore continued, “and this is what they get in return.”
Moore then elaborated on six offenses either suffered by our troops or thrust upon them by Americans.
These included: being “sent off to wars that have NOTHING to do with defending America or saving our lives;” having their homes foreclosed on them while they’re overseas; regular citizens never visiting VA hospitals to see how people there are being treated; female soldiers being raped; no one helping homeless vets, and; suicide.
In Moore’s view, since he and most other Americans aren’t doing anything about these issues, we don’t really support the troops.
“I beg any young person reading this who's thinking of joining the armed forces to please reconsider,” Moore wrote as he crescendoed to a conclusion.
“Our war department has done little to show you they won't recklessly put your young life in harm's way for a cause that has nothing to do with what you signed up for,” he continued. “They will not help you once they've used you and spit you back into society. If you're a woman, they will not protect you from rapists in their ranks. And because you have a conscience and you know right from wrong, you do not want yourself being used to kill civilians in other countries who never did anything to hurt us.”
“Don't become the next statistic so that General Electric can post another record profit -- while paying no taxes -- taxes that otherwise would be paying for the artificial leg that they've kept you waiting for months to receive,” Moore exclaimed. “And please, next time some ‘supporter of the troops’ says to you with that concerned look on their face, ‘I thank you for your service,’ you have my permission to punch their lights out (figuratively speaking, of course).”
What a piece of work.
Somebody ought to deport him to Antarctica. He’d never freeze, and all the BS he spouts would soon make him a nice brown house he could burrow into.
“Punching out lights” and “Michael Moore” in the same sentence had such promise.
Guess the number of armed bodyguards that Michael Moore employs to keep his lights however dim from being disconnected.
This guy is one sick s.l.o.b.

He’s cynically playing a part to make more money. The pie-eyed leftists will lavish him with praise and, more importantly, money for his pathetic twaddle.
Michael Moore has finally hit rock bottom, now spouting this kind of crap in a desperate attempt to garner media attention.
With each day, he becomes “moore” irrelevant.
It would be sad if he weren’t so despicable.
That person appears to be in desperate need of attention all of the time. Maybe we can start posting a list of outrageous things to say so the media will continue to put the spotlight on him...?

Long ago, the Left was pretty open about what they wanted. They were sure they were right, they were sure that everyone would agree with them. Eugene V. Debs ran for president as a socialist back in the early 20th century, and he was blunt about his beliefs, and the unions were equally blunt about supporting those beliefs.
Then the Left figured out that their ideas were not as popular as they thought -- so they went underground. They lied. They hid. They pushed their ideas while claiming to push other ideas. But they slowly took over entertainment, news, academia, and both political parties. It took about a 100 years.
Now the Left is fully emboldened and is dropping the ruse. They are becoming open about what they want. They are sure they are right, they are sure that everyone agrees with them.
My sense is that the left is jumping the shark again. Sure, there are anti-American maggots who embrace the Obamas, et al., but I don’t believe that the majority of Americans are unhinged leftists like fat a$$ Moore.
We don’t really support the troops? Last week at a restaurant I witnessed a couple thank a young woman in uniform for her service and hand her enough money to buy breakfast for her and her friend.
I wonder what Moore would have done had he witnessed that?
I am now picturing Michael Moore in shorts and a leather jacket, on water skiis, jumping a shark, while being pulled by a motor boat. By my calculation, the speed of the motor boat may have to be above 300 mph to achieve this feat.
I think cognitive dissonance is starting to cause considerable strain on the left. Obama has given them exactly what they want and they still aren’t happy. Rather than admit that their ideology is an utter failure, they blame republicans or even better, blame Obama’s imaginary rightward leanings.
I will never stop thanking someone for their service to Our Country. I have taught my children to thank military/vets for their service to Our Country. If we see a man in a baseball cap with military info, we thank him. If we see something on his car tag about military service, we thank him. Personally, I’d like to punch Michael Moore in the face for his DISSERVICE to Our Country.
Michael needs about ten minutes out behind the woodshed.
