Nothing in the bill is designed to protect our children or make schools safer. It was written BEFORE Sandy Hook and saved for just such an event.
They full well expect another shooting tragedy and have another draft in the works for the next step. You cannot cut the heart out of the Constitution all at once. It has to be done incrementally over time, telling everyone it must be done, for their own good and safety and for the future. Until they have 100% control of your goods, safety and future.

If the government can have and use fully automatic “assault rifles”, the citizens of the nation can have semi automatic “assault rifles” as a 2nd amendment right.
They need to stay away from my 2nd amendment rights. Note: constitutional rights are enforceable by every citizen, not just the courts and government.

All people should be conversing? Except that the NRA is being avoided.....altogether.....along with its membership and other supporters.
It’s not gun control, though. It’s gun confiscation. It’s unconstitutional deprivation of the right to self-defense, by any means necessary.
0bama and cabal will go for something in the extreme, like his budget request, to force something else, like with ammunition or something. Never mind that you can already bar code ammo, let alone provide protection for public figures.
