I would say that they deserve it for electing the same idiots over and over, however as a CT resident who is lucky enough to be able to live near the border and save 15-20 cents/gal in MA, I say they don't deserve it.

According to GasBuddy averages:

RI: 3.53/gal

NY: 3.72/gal

CT: 3.67/gal

MA: 3.47/gal

There will be no tax hikes in liberal land,if the liberals have anything to say about it.

Where were they when Obama told them their electricity rates would sky rocket under his administration?

Maybe they can borrow from the Chinese to pay for roads and bridges. Maybe a new cigarette tax, or a booze tax on the Kennedy’s.

Out of curiosity, how much of this increase would be diverted to mass transit rather than actual bridge and highway funding?

according to the partial results of a poll obtained by the News Service and conducted for a coalition that supports raising the income tax

now there's an unbiased source if there ever was one...

As if Osama Obama’s lifelong buddy from their Chicago days,Coupe Deval (our esteemed...but not by me...Governor) or our state Legislature (95% Rat) will care in the least about what the voters want.

They’re just running these polls to justify open road tolling AND gas taxes.

Sometime in the late 1990’s or early 2000’s there was a ballot question in MA about removing a tax (or perhaps it was a specific road toll) which passed but the legislature overruled it anyway. Does anybody remember that?

Where is their patriotism? Don’t they want to do their fair share? Don’t they care about the planet? Uncle Slow Joe is going to be very disappointed that they refused to get in the game, man.
