Since last month’s horrifying and heartbreaking school massacre in Newtown, Conn., politicians and the press have, as everyone knows,.....
Other possible factors – from violent video games to the “failure of our mental-health system” to the unintended consequences of making schools “gun-free zones” – have taken a back seat to guns. Within hours of the gruesome mega-crime, the media had provided extensive, round-the-clock coverage of precisely which firearms, manufacturers and calibers the perpetrator had used, how he had obtained them from his mother, where they were originally purchased, and so on.
But where, I’d like to ask my colleagues in the media, is the reporting about the psychiatric medications the perpetrator – who had been under treatment for mental-health problems – may have been taking? After all, Mark and Louise Tambascio, family friends of the shooter and his mother, were interviewed on CBS’ “60 Minutes,” during which Louise Tambascio told correspondent Scott Pelley: “I know he was on medication and everything, but she homeschooled him at home cause he couldn’t deal with the school classes sometimes, so she just homeschooled Adam at home. And that was her life.” And here, Tambascio tells ABC News, “I knew he was on medication, but that’s all I know.”
It has been more than three weeks since the shooting. We know all about the guns he used, but what “medication” may he have used? (One brief mini-hoax emerged when the New York Daily News published a story claiming the shooter, according to his uncle, had been on the controversial antipsychotic drug Fanapt. That story was quickly withdrawn after the “uncle” turned out to be a fraudster with no relation to the murderer.)
So, what is the truth? Where is the journalistic curiosity? Where is the follow-up? Where is the police report,.......

Those “assult weapons” weapons used today in combat( excepting 50 cal) we don’t even use for hunting excepting small game. Calling one shot per trigger pull “assult weapons” is a joke because it takes several rounds to drop a target no matter what the gun design looks like.
There was decision made in using the smaller caliber going from 30 to an automatic 22.3 and that was to clog the aid stations with wounded and not killed. Because it ties up more personell servicing the wounded in combat than those KIA.
I’m not even sure 100% that it happened. I know people say it happened, but what if it didn’t?

Interestingly enough...the local LEO’s (who were so shaken up by seeing murdered children and teachers) were caught toilet papering their Sgt.s house. You can Google it for the link. Saw it in the local paper and had to ask WTH?

This story droppped from the news quickly outside of bells tolling for the dead children and we must do something to make sure this never happens again mantra.
There really has been no further actual information on this.
I am suspicious, something does not seem right.
There’s video out there from early on showing the cops pulling a “long gun” out of the trunk, and ejecting shells. It does NOT appear to be an AR15.
Early reports from witnesses - usually the most accurate - said he went in with two handguns only.
I think that was a carefully scripted add-on by the usual suspects to push their agenda....gee...almost like they were “waiting” for something to happen.
So what are you suggesting?
That medication kept these perps just sane enough to plan an atrocity?
Should we withhold treatment so they go stark-raving mad instead?
I am thankful for drugs that prevent full-blown psychosis. There is no reason to think that these murderers would have been any less dangerous unmedicated. Rather, they might well have just acted sooner.
You know... so many people are so quick to blame the drugs themselves. Just like others blame the guns, frankly... These are unstable individuals with extreme mental illnesses - THAT is the common thread here - not medications, and not firearms.
In fact, when most problems come along for these people is when they are NOT compliant with their medications, and STOP taking them (sometimes because they hear people talking on threads like this in regard to how *crazy* the meds make *anyone* and they are scared - even though they are the ones that NEED these medications to STAY SANE).
You know, in all honesty, I think trying to prevent some of these things by introducing all sorts of new laws, or trying to find somewhere to place blame is a waste of time... These happenings are not getting “more common”, we may hear about smaller incidents more often, but these tragedies are nothing new...
One question for those who would blame the medications: What about the MILLIONS of individuals on these same medications that do NOT go out and kill people? If the cause was truly the medication(s) these things would be happening a LOT, LOT more...
Yes, these are strong powerful drugs, but some people NEED these medications, and blaming them for the actions of a handful of people in comparison to the MILLIONS on these medications is simply absurd.
Please also keep in mind that many of these medications are used to help those with neurological problems like epilepsy, migraines, variant migraines, and other similar problems. Again, if it was the fault of the medication why do we not see these other people exhibiting signs of extreme mental illness when put on the meds for other problems? (Note: I mean REAL mental illness and not any symptoms of being on the wrong meds, or allergic reactions to them, either...)
WHY was that maniac’s hard drive destroyed , and WHO did it? Not an easy thing to do....
I hadn’t heard about the local LEOs either. I sure don’t trust the pod people the media is showing us. As soon as “the families” were done with their fake crying to every media outlet that would have them, they all (in unison) started talking about how none of us should have guns... I feel that I am living “The Truman Show” right now.
And what about the one or two other people involved? Why haven’t we heard any more about them?

This reporter is either a WND demagogue or an idiot. Anybody who has ever dealt with HIPPA knows that there is absolutely no way any healthcare provider who wanted to stay licensed would willingly disclose that information.
Why do you believe a rational, well thought out post will be accepted? Are you on drugs? ;)

Well, I don’t know which perfect place you went to high school from but I saw it with a few of my classmates back then. Mostly the nerds who got beat up, the loners etc. The good part is that we had school counselors who cared.
That, plus a lack of decent parenting for my generation (23-28).
How about low-capacity MSM dimbulbs.
That there is an ongoing “spiritual warfare” going on between Heaven vs. Hell and when there are mass shootings it is made visable.
