A fight or series of fights led to the early closure of the Mall of Louisiana.
No injuries were reported in the Saturday night episode. The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's office tells The Advocate that they plan to charge a number of people in the incident.
Witnesses say the trouble started after Instagram users posted a "meet and greet" invitation to meet their followers in person. Eventually, a fight between 100 or more teenagers broke out, leading to a stampede.

First these rioters were referred to as “young people” now “teenagers”, both characterizations leave out that they were “wilding” or rioting and were committing crimes.
More to the point—I’m a merchant paying big bucks to lease space in this mall. I’m also paying taxes to the city of Baton Rouge for the privelege of taking a risk by starting and running a business. Oh, I have to act as tax collector for the city and state as well. Then, my profitability is reduced by the inability of the mall, city, and state to protect the premises—But I better not be late with any of my tribute payments.
This is a microcosm of Obama’s Amerika.
This is not the first “flash mob” incident at this mall. One such incident over a year ago, IIRC, included a smash-and-grab style robbery at a gold and jewelry kiosk.
Indianapolis has the same problem with malls and yutes. One notorious mall filled with urban teens had a shooting on Friday. And Sunday night the nicer mall downtown had a group of same urban types attack a cop.
That race card shite quit workin' on this ol'fella a l-o-o-ng time ago.
Just shut down the assault malls, you know, the ones with high capacity “clips.”
no ethnicity mentioned means that they were black. Just like when there is no political party mentinoed = democRAT.

Hicks said deputies made the following arrests based on probable cause. She did not release the names because they are juveniles:
..a 14-year-old boy on counts of remaining after forbidden, simple battery and resisting an officer.
..a 13-year-old girl on a count of disturbing the peace.
..a 15-year-old girl on a count of remaining after forbidden.

We’re not allowed to say that they are black youth, or to talk about whatever gang affiliations are involved. We’re not supposed to speculate that someone felt “dissed” and felt compelled to start a fight.
So many things we’re not supposed to say. Elephants are in the room but we can’t talk about those elephants.
