When THAT kind of death occurs, first I would check to see if Angela Lansbury or Archie Goodwin is ANYwhere in the vicinity.

This is why, when you win a substantial enough amount to which cannot just drop it on a mortgage or something, financial experts advise getting out of town for an extended period of time.

It’s obviously time the government instituted an assault poison ban.

http://www.lottery.com/news//$1-million-lottery-instant-win-has-chicago-man-jumping-for-joy.htm
“Urooj Khan is the newest $1 million winner from the Illinois Lottery’s $3,000,000 Cash Jackpot instant game. Khan bought his winning $1 million ticket at 7-Eleven, 6801 North Western Avenue in Chicago.

Khan along with his wife, Shabana Ansari, their daughter, Jasmeen Khan, and several friends gathered at the lucky, winning store today to accept an oversized check from Illinois Lottery representatives.”

Sad for him in someone wanted to poison him. I hope it was an accident......

I certainly wouldn't put any money on the possibility of accidental cyanide poisoning. Other poisonings perhaps, but not cyanide.

Not likely cyanide, I agree.

It would take a lot of apples to ingest enough cyanide to be deadly. :)

“Angela Lansbury” She was one bad omen. What couple times I saw the show, she shows up at the front door ... 24 hours later ... yikes.

LOL, your comment gave me a flashback to Dr. Quinn - Medicine Woman. My eldest daughter was in elementary school at the time, and she would watch this show with me and then comment on what a lousy doctor the "medicine woman" was because people she took care of were always dying.

I have two guesses:

The obvious; The wife did it because now he could afford more than one wife.

The less obvious; A male relative did it, with plans to frame the wife, hence the request by a relative for a fuller investigation.

It’s obviously time the government instituted an assault poison ban.

Or, it's time to ban the lotteries.

Without the lotteries, there would be no lottery-winnings-related homicides.

That dead lottery winner from Florida, Shakespeare, would agree with me.

I thought the killer was clever, waiting until the next day to avoid suspicion. I’m surprised so many people suspected foul play immediately.

not quite that bad (yet)...the 425,000 is the cost of an annuity that would pay the prize over 10 years....he could have opted for 100,000, before taxes, per year, over a 10 year period. If he invests wisely, he is much better off this way.
