Oxygen mum about show on proposed show involving rapper with 11 children from 10 women
PASADENA, Calif. (AP) Oxygen cable television executives aren't talking, as negative attention grows about its proposed program featuring a musician who has fathered 11 children with ten different mothers.
The Parents Television Council on Monday asked Oxygen to shelve "All My Babies' Mamas" before it ever gets on the air, calling it "grotesquely irresponsible and exploitive."
The group follows a New York author, Sabrina Lamb, who has launched a petition drive against the show that she said has more than 20,000 signatures.
Oxygen executives wouldn't comment Monday, referring to a statement issued three days earlier that it is sticking by its plans.

And lets not forget “Double Divas” on the lifetime network.
They should show this in every school in America on the educational channel so all of America will know the hazards of promiscuous sex.
The man is a living breathing racial stereotype.
These people are proof that it doesn’t take brains to breed.
Gee, imagine that. 50 years later after out of wedlock babies stopped being shamed and got subsidized, it’s reached an all time high.
We can’t dare criticize the issue, and offend “Single mothers” though. That’s misogynistic. /sarc
It appears that he was exercising a bit of restraint. He apparently only knocked one of them up twice. /s

Along with how much AFDC money is involved.
And since our company was "self insured" with Blue Cross being the administrator of our plan, every single medical claim those bastard children incurred would have been paid by my company....
Not only THAT, when those bastard children became biologically able to have children, our company also was required to either pay for the anticipated ABORTION or the complete costs of both the pre-natal and post natal care of that baby as long as that dependent was able to be claimed as a dependent by that employee..............
To quote a friend of mine’s 90 year old mom ,,,
“Well, he’s either got money or a wart!”
We have TV shows about Pickle Chuggers and rug munchers.
Why not air another TV show that is geared to a democrat voting bloc....but rather than just show a rapper, Oxygen could air the exact same situation that occurs throughout Detroit on a daily basis....
ABC had 2 shows last year with the b-word in the title, both bombed
We must be undergoing inflation, I count sixteen.
disgusting
I think the 8 standing up are some of the babies mommas. It appears he likes them in all sizes and shapes.
Welfare Queens of...Queens
Show the world what several generations of government handouts will do to an area.
(Production crew to be carrying concealed weapons and have 24 hr armed guards, of course)
The problem is, a lot of what passes for the American public these days think this rapper and his behavior is cool. They don't see it as something to be ashamed of, they see it as cool and the sort of thing that gets one a realityTV show.
This nation is falling into the gutter so fast it is sometimes hard to realize what would be derided by most of the public even 10 years ago is trendy and hip now.
No morals, no respect for women, no self-respect, no love, just sex.

Amish?
Sad thing is not being able to afford a house while my taxes go to supporting this rich rappers brood.
Luckily for your company ... I don’t think that this rat bastard rapper has ever worked a single day in his entire life (excepting for ‘work’ like mopping concrete floors during incarceration at a state prison), so there is zero possibility that he could ever hold and maintain a paying job at your company.
With just a few ‘workers’ like this assclown, a company like yours could quickly go bankrupt.
I’ve never even heard of this guy. Granted, I don’t listen to rap, but I doubt anybody is buying his records. I guess we’re paying for him, his hoes, and his bastards.
Here’s expecting that the state will extract massive amounts of back child support from all of this guy’s pay.
No. No restraint. He just moved on to another ‘babe’ within 9 months. Banging each one all the way to the delivery room I presume.
Meanwhile jerks like this find there is no shortage of tramps willing to put up with such a loser.
We are paying for them!
How do black people expect things to ever get better for them as long as they allow a worthless cretin like this to be a role model for their kids?
“How do black people expect things to ever get better for them as long as they allow a worthless cretin like this to be a role model for their kids?”
That’s a good question. I want to know how white people expect things to ever get better for them (or how they’ll even be around in fifty years) if they convince themselves they can’t afford kids, leaving this worthless cretin to do it for them. This brood is in effect using taxpayers’ monies that will never be spent on a white kid’s teachers, etc. because the white kid will never be born.
“The man is a living breathing racial stereotype.”
I’m actually impressed that shows like “The Maury Show” are even allowed to air; they say everything about America’s permanent underclass (white/black/Hispanic) that nobody is allowed to say publicly anymore.
In “Boyz in the Hood” Ice Cube’s character laments that his brother’s murder wasn’t in the news; he says, “They don’t know, don’t show, or don’t care what happens in the hood” (or something along those lines). He would be happy to know that what happens in the hood is now entertainment for millions of people that will never set foot there, but will keep voting Dem to keep abortion available to blacks.
Do you ever watch the Pawn show.
There are two of them. One from Vegas the other from Detroit .
Just watch the two of them and compare the difference in cultures.
It’s a perfect example of what dwells in the Darker portions of the country.
And it is easy to see that it is the Entertainment industry that is carrying us to that gutter. Despite what Schwartzneggar says.
“Just watch the two of them and compare the difference in cultures.”
I watched the Vegas one when it first came out (I love historical stuff, and they had some interesting pieces); once they started inserting plots and story lines I lost interest. Never saw the Detroit ones, but the commercials made it look like a low-brow spin-off of the Vegas one (again, I never watched it, so I’m basing that on not much). I could imagine the contrast between the 2 places; one is an entertainment mecca that can’t have tourists molested/robbed, while the other is a dying city with the basest remnants of better days left to scratch (and steal and scam) a living however they can.
I live next to Newark NJ; the population has never recovered to the point it was at prior to the riots in the 1960s (and it never will unless they re-settle their permanent underclass elsewhere). Whole blocks have never been re-built; an absolute toilet.
